There is nobody under a 5 star in my book.
Honestly though, I gave it a B.
1) Nice class. Addressed young linemen and some nice skill players.
2) As USAF said, I also expected higher by this point, but I'm also not disappointed. Tough school to turn around into a recruiting hotbed. I think it will happen though. But this class has some very nice players.
3) Reference #2. I'm happy to have expected more, but I don't want to sound ungrateful. This class is definitely a good class and hopefully the "fit" is better than the ratings. Knuth is huge, Smith, Bixby, Hoskins, Evans should be very good (not based on personal knowledge, based on perception). Nice pieces coming in.
But I agree with USAF to a degree, that I was hoping for players like Hinzman (or maybe I should say players rated like him), or some of the dark horses down in Florida, Texas, Cali. Not pouting about it not happening, but was thinking it would happen by now. I also realize that this is a very complicated and difficult job to get that. It has definitely improved over the last few years overall, but I would love to run around drunk and naked because the Gophers beat Bama for the number one rated position X.
Very good class, and I'm excited to see these kids manhandle Shitsconsin and Whyowa multiple years. I'd like them to go their whole career without losing to those 2 crap ass teams.
