I hope this is an indication that Marcus Carr is definitely returning.
interesting.
If Carr comes back, Robbins is eligible, and we can fill the remaining scholarship with another piece who can contribute next year, we'll be dancing!!

Only 3 “ifs” away from the tournament. Great.
We have two openings now.
I'd say take Jonah Antonio from UNLV and then either take Peterson or wait for another decent grad or traditional transfer to enter the portal.Great get a grad transfer for this year and offer Tschetter for next year.
I expect Ishmael El Amin to commit shortly. Much better depth at PG next year and he should allow Carr to play off the ball as well.
He’d be a grad transfer so you’d still have the 21 scholarship open. And if we don’t take him we are giving the scholarship to a walk-in so we aren’t saving scholarship expenses. He also only shot 7 FT’s last year so that percentage is irrelevant. Was 80% two years ago.Get a non stiff Grad Transfer not a guy who shot 31% from the field and 44% from the stripe. This would keep a 21 offer open in the fall. Rather let the athletic dept. bank the player related expenses than bring in a stiff.

giving a walk on a ride is optional...Dept. could save the tuition , books, room and board mula. Prefer a one and done kid who can play some power 5 ball. He’d be a grad transfer so you’d still have the 21 scholarship open. Unless he is a locker room cancer there are zero downsides to taking him as opposed to banking the scholarship. We desperately need more wing depth as Tre and Gabe are the only true wings on the roster right now.
Its really this simple stop talking late flyers on 4 year players and pocket the schollie for next year to give you leeway to offer a fringe kid you may want before they blow upGreat get a grad transfer for this year and offer Tschetter for next year.
It’s all pretty obviousWe’re starting to look like Wichita State. A lot of recent departures.
