Directv has the game listed on 682, and 695-1. Don't watch it on 682, if you have a HD tv, 695-1 will be the HD fee of the game.
BTN as described above, BTN doesn't have all those overflow channels anymore. They may be listed as that, but they only have 2. The WNBA game is not on the BTN, it is on an alternate channel that is being used by one of the FSN networks. Its directv's listing problem, not BTN's programming problem.
The game is being streamed on the internet. You can watch on your phone, but you can just as easily watch on your computer or a smart tv. Its completely about rights fees, access, and broadcast capability, but if you can't seem to understand that, then I can't help you. There is no vast anti-Gopher conspiracy between FSN, BTN and New Mexico State.
How did you get that to work? I downloaded BTN2go to my iPad, but I did not see the icon for streaming it to my AppleTV anywhere (the rectangle with a triangle thru the bottom). From looking at some discussion forums it didn't seem possible either. I haven't tried running BTN2go off of my iPhone. The one thing I did do was run the website on my iMac. The resolution looks OK on the small screen (about 5"x7" on the iMac, or on the iPad). But when I went to fullscreen on the iMac, it got awful mosaic-ish. I'd be concerned that streaming from my iPad to my 70" projection screen it'll look like something my kid made out of legos.
Another idea is to make sure your operating system software on both your Apple TV and ipad are up to date. Just a thought.
If you want to blast an email to BTN, go to the Contact link at the bottom of the main page (btn.com). Make sure you choose "Other" for Category and Subject fields or it will funnel you to some generic scheduling links. Give your name and some other info and you get 250 characters to ask them why they are not broadcasting the game over one of their BTN channels.
I had a dream last night I tuned into the alternative channels on DirecTv and they had them blacked out for local coverage. I think I need to stop reading this thread
I kind of doubt the game will actually be available on some of the alternate channels that have been listed as well so am planning to have the BTN2GO option ready as a backup. Just because the guide shows it doesn't mean it will actually be available. Has anyone actually confirmed that Dish and Directv will not be blacking out the game locally?
Our Family's Choices:
1) Get AggieVision for $9.99 for the month,
2) Watch on my phone,
3) Watch on the iPad, or
4) Purchase an HDMI cable / hook it up to the lap top / feed on the flat screen
We opted for #4 and will enjoy!

Blackouts are for games being played nearby, not games being played thousands of miles away. They don't black out the visiting team's home market.
I get that but I have also seen plenty of times where an alternate channel will show a game in the guide but it will not be available locally even if it involves teams from other parts of the country.
Apologize is this was already posted and I missed it but found this on Gophersports.com so it would appear that live options will definitely be available.

I also choose #4 and got the cable last night. Tested it with BTN2Go watching "live" stream, which was a Mich-N Dame game from '11. Worked VERY well with a sharp picture.
Equipment:
iPad 3
HDMI/iPad adapter
LG HDTV
BTN2Go App
XFinity CATV
Unrelated aside that might help a couple others who are Amazon Prime customers: I hoped by getting the iPad -> HDMI adapter this would allow me to play Amazon Prime instant videos (used for kiddie shows on the iPad typically). No dice... Amazon blocks this, same as they do for AirPlay. In short, using an iPad with the Amazon video app, there is currently no way to get that to play on a TV. The audio goes through but the TV screen is black with an error saying "viewing isn't currently available with this app".

Is that really an option?
I have DirecTV. I ordered the Sports Pack today. I am getting basically nothing but ESPN Classic. The dumba$$ I called on the phone said I can't get any regional sports networks, including Altitude, because they of my zip code. I said so what the hell am I paying $12 a month for? ESPN Classic and that's it?
He was no help. I'm not crazy right? The whole purpose of the Sports Pack is to pay to get access to those channels. He basically said there was no way i could get Altitude period. Somebody please help before I call back. I was about to throw my phone through the TV talking to that guy.

Can someone please confirm you have the Sports Pack and get these channels? Then I can say that when I call back.
You must, otherwise I don't know how so many people on here are planning to watch the game.
I get Altitude with my normal package since I live in Nebraska.
Is this the sports package you ordered, the one for $12.99? Altitude and Fox Sports Arizona are both part of it. If this is what you requested that guy was clearly wrong.

Call back and ask for moron #2. You might find someone more informed.
