Are we all talking about the same sport....NCAA Div 1 softball being played at a National Level?
That's why I watch Oklahoma as well yeahTrue, but the two errors made it worse.
i think some of theses fans need to convert to Sooner fans. That’s probable the only program that can live up to there expectations
How about cut the errors and brain farts by players and coaches? I can live with talent discrepancy.True, but the two errors made it worse.

You appear to be one of the few then. I see a lot of posts suggesting that the Gophers, year after year, are supposed to (somehow) have more talent than their opponents. As if that is easy. How about cut the errors and brain farts by players and coaches? I can live with talent discrepancy.
Good to know. Probably want to continue to be teammates with TaylorBreaking news from the espn+announcer, Oakland transferred from Duke last season
Is "don't throw the ball to a second base that nobody is covering because the runner from first is jogging there after a walk" a reasonable expectation?True, but the two errors made it worse.

No Gopher coach will ever win a Big Ten Championship starting next year now that the fools at the Big Ten brought in UCLA, Washington, and Oregon. The fact of the matter is, we will never win a championship with Ritter as coach…
Let that hope go now because again, Ritter is not the coach to take us there. No Gopher coach will ever win a Big Ten Championship starting next year now that the fools at the Big Ten brought in UCLA, Washington, and Oregon.
This year is our last year for any hope at the championship.
I can also confirm this…multiple sources saying the ball was juiced and not the NCAA ball that is normally used. ESPN wanted a spectacle and got one.All Florida games are cancelled again today. There was an inordinate amount of runs scored during this event. Posts on another board, indicate that a harder (juiced) ball was used in an attempt to produce more offense. It seemed to work better than expected.
Lost opportunity to play 3 top 12 opponents. On to North Texas tournament. Good chance to see more of freshmen pitchers.Underway at 1140
Don't think Perez has long left at UCLA, they could be down for a whileNo Gopher coach will ever win a Big Ten Championship starting next year now that the fools at the Big Ten brought in UCLA, Washington, and Oregon.

I would be shocked it this comes true. You can’t keep a legacy powerhouse program (THE legacy powerhouse softball program) down for long.Don't think Perez has long left at UCLA, they could be down for a while
After this past weekend, I don't see this happening. They have to try and go 5-0 on the weekend and I'm not sure, based on games last weekend, that the trust is there for any of the freshmen pitchers yet.Lost opportunity to play 3 top 12 opponents. Partly due to there being very very little for elite pitchers this seasonDid some comparisons of 2023 Clearwater scores to 2024 Clearwater scores.
2023 40 games 383 runs scored 9.6 runs per game average (both teams combined)
2024 23 games 359 runs scored 15.6 runs per game average (both teams combined)
The outliers were Stanford with Canady pitching, Washington with Meylan pitching, Tennessee with Pickens pitching and UCF with Willis pitching. Everyone else, and I mean everyone else, got shelled.
Mostly due to a juiced ball.Partly due to there being very very little for elite pitchers this season
Maybe they need to unjuice the ball.Mostly due to a juiced ball.
I didn’t see any of the games listed on ESPN+. I think it’s just stats. Are the games on television this weekend? Thanks.
Thanks. I couldn't find anything either. Guess I'll learn more as we get closer to game time.I didn’t see any of the games listed on ESPN+. I think it’s just stats.

seems like it is. there was a lot of chatter on the LSU/Boise State broadcast last night by Yvette Girouard that there is a standard NCAA ball that is used for the NCAA tournament and such. but apparently conferences/teams aren't required to use it in season, even though most do. she said that the clearwater tournament chose not to use it. based on the scores it seems likely that it was quite a different ball down there.LOL. Is that true?
