No one, this move has to be for the future.Who indicated it would be? Or should be?

Looked like it was around 80 snaps on offense with the remainder on special teams. If you can play in 17 games for TEN in your first two (2) years, that seems like more than just a "prospect" to me.
On paper, looks like a terrific signing.
I agree. I’m guessing two come in to compete for two tackle spots with Roy. Or compete with each other for RT.If you can play in 17 games for TEN in your first two (2) years, that seems like more than just a "prospect" to me.

No injury history at least.Top-80 overall prospect in 2024??? What's the catch?
I'd say we have the inside track on the Nevada kid as well, considering he's local. That can’t be their lone OL pickup from the portal if they expect improvement there next year.
Sweet unisYPC is underwhelming, but 13 catches is decent. Zero fumbles. Led Tulane RBs in carries. Stylistically looks like a little smaller version of Mo. Would be a nice addition with his experience.
I know right? I really don't get why some feel the need to make a post like that. Portal season just getting going, not one single person anywhere has indicated this will be the only pickup for the O-Line.Who indicated it would be? Or should be?
That makes more sense...I misinterpreted and assumed it meant all on the OL.Looked like it was around 80 snaps on offense with the remainder on special teams.
His stats r a huge improvement from this season.Get this done!!!
However, it looks like he is ranked an 88 and the 19th best OT in the portal by On3 but not rated by 247 yet. That makes more sense...I misinterpreted and assumed it meant all on the OL.
The LB out of Eastern Michigan we were after.
3 years to play.
Agreed that the wrong tone was used on my post. This kid looks like a potential depth piece for next year with upside for the future.I know right? But damn....this looks like a really nice get. Great size and was already getting playing time as a true and redshirt freshman for an SEC team.
I’m not sure how to feel there. He seems to have good stats but somehow was left completely off all-conference lists. I get that all-conference lists can be subjective but being left off altogether is interesting.I'd say we have the inside track on the Nevada kid as well, considering he's local.

A starting OT is still needed.
Hopefully, they still have enough money allocated to obtain that player.

I guess we will find out soon enough on Warren. They need to hit on the OL transfers this year. Taking a guy like Warren with little experience increases the risk of a bust. I hope he’s as good as the HS rating suggests.I think he can start right away. He's been stuck behind some really good players at Tennessee.
He has an Oklahoma offer. I'm good with getting him.

The Oklahoma offer is definitely a good data point in his favor. Only allowing 3 sacks in 1200+ snaps is also impressive.
Everyone is contract hunting lolThis is a little weird. The LT at Tennessee (Lance Heard) starting in front of Warren is also in the portal. Are these guys contract hunting maybe?
Well the SEC sucks.I know right? I really don't get why some feel the need to make a post like that. Portal season just getting going, not one single person anywhere has indicated this will be the only pickup for the O-Line.

Maybe, maybe not. Kid has great size, will be a redshit sophomore next season, was highly rated out of high school and already seeing the field some in his first 2 years. Very possible he comes in and starts next season. No one, this move has to be for the future.
Is he a tackle or guard?Top-80 overall prospect in 2024??? What's the catch?
No definitely not ok with corner, that’s why I had that as my #2 priority. I feel like we really need some help there along with DT. Agree, right tackle would be the big thing. I do think some of the young guys are talented but unknown. Love a solid vet though.Agree about DT -- although I haven't really looked at who we've got on the team right now, I just am reacting to the departures.
I think the LB squad is solid/impressive, as is.
Right side of offensive line, unless we think Carroll or Williams (or both) is/are ready to be inserted? (Just observing that we've got a pair of 4-star highly sought after young dudes waiting their turn). Solving this problem unleashes the rushing attack and the passing attack.
An impact WR -- totally agree.
What about corners? I think we're counting on Hopkins living up to Walley's example and starting on Day One. Even so, are you comfortable with the cornerback situation?
Listed as a tackle on 247 and is 6'7" 325 which is definitely tackle size.Is he a tackle or guard?
Yes.Is he a tackle or guard?
Appears he was teammates with OL Jaden Ball in high school, Ball tweeted welcoming him.
That is a large human being who also probably benchpresses a compact pickup truck for warm ups.Listed as a tackle on 247 and is 6'7" 325 which is definitely tackle size.
