GAME #30: Gophers (18-11, 7-9) @ #16 Michigan (20-7, 12-3) [BTN, 5:00PM]

Nothing kills our offensive rhythm more than King wondering what to do with the ball at the top of the key.

King is worthless at this point. I'd rather have Buggs in.

I think Pitino is going to regret having King and EE in so much at the end of the game.

I hope Mo and Buggs are our front court at the end of games going forward. Mo has his weaknesses, but he doesn't make brain dead decisions and can score, two things EE has issues with.

EE getting manhandled on the boards. Can't afford to let Michigan get boards after a missed shot when we're playing catch up. Hope Richard has two PFs and two centers on his recruiting list.

I blame this loss on Coach Pitino for a lot of reasons.

Did anyone notice the 30 seconds of clock we lost from 11:00 to 10:30?

This might be Lil Dre's worst game in a Gopher uni...consistently losing his guy on defense. Anyway this isn't a terrible loss. They fought until the end and i'm happy with that. Let's take care of business at home on senior night.

The announcer has an orgasm every time Michigan does something well.
I wonder if Minn would hustle for loose balls, fight(jump?) for rebounds, and successfully alley-oop as well as Mich, would they orgasm from the Gophs too???

finished the game like they finished the 1st half, I wasn't expecting a win anyways, just going to have to win our next 2 games and hope we get in at this point, wouldn't be minnesota if we just coasted into the tourney

All our big guys just aren't very aggressive. The passive mentality is what kills us. They watch rebounds while the other team grabs them. When you have Eliason's height, how can he not get most of those defensive rebounds.

We lost this game because we can't rebound. That's all

BS, I saw plenty of heart tonight. Michigan has A LOT more talent.

When you have four rebounders and they have one and they get the ball, it's about who wants it more.

Sounds like a lot of drunks on the game thread today.

Didn't expect to win, at least they made it interesting. Got a week off to prepare for a must win vs. Penn St and another week after that to prepare to beat Purdue/Illinois/Indiana. Take care of business!

Apparently we haven't wanted it all season then because we've struggled rebounding the ball all year.
