is anyone else's stream having numerous seizures? maybe it's just my computer
 


I've been high on Buggs but boy, he just seems to have a tough time doing anything right. Reminds me of Oto last year.
 



For the couple minutes I've been watching, it looks like Tubby's Offense has survived. I like defense though. If we were playing Michigan state, we'd have given up quite a few buckets, but it's early on in the year so i'm happy.
 

Our offense hasn't been perfect but there's more movement than Tubby's O and we've had a lot less turnovers as result of some better passing. King was a great pick up for us, he's just a polished all around player.
 

Pretty good start IMO. They're getting good shots for the most part.
 



EE has looked really good. I'm impressed.

Offense has so much more movement. Beautiful to watch.
 

We are really going to destroy teams that only have a couple of good ball handlers. Our press is already pretty good and I'm sure it will only get better.
 

Very impressed with Joey King and Elliot. This is my first look at DeAndre Mathieu and I like him too. Malik smith? Didn't see him once. Thought he was supposed to be our greatest addition.

Smith was in early and just threw up a couple off target 3's right away. Haven't seen him since.
 

Halftime Thoughts:

Postives
- EE: Everything, good D, rebounding, and post moves
- Press: Everyone seems to know what they are doing and it's caused a lot of problems for Lehigh so far
- Oto: We definitely got good Oto tonight instead of Bad Oto.
- King: Our leading scorer with 10 points and all around solid play. If Oto holds on to the starting spot, King is going to be a terrific 6th man.
- Both Andre and Austin look good - no surprise.

Negatives
- Rebounding, rebounding, rebounding. Easily our biggest weakness.
- Malik Smith: Please start making 3's and/or find other ways to contribute. Frustrating player to watch.

The thing is Oto did all the little things right last year, he just couldn't hit a shot. That's why he still got plenty of minutes. Buggs is the opposite of Oto in that he does all the little things wrong.

Smith is historically a streaky shooter. When he is on he makes 4, 5 and 6 in a game. When he is off, he goes 0 fer 8. Either way, he takes 6-8 per game. He is a shooter and will keep shooting. We need points off the bench...and hopefully he get us some of those points.

I'm well aware of his reputation, I'm just waiting for that first game where he actually is on.

When we signed Smith I posted here that he's a streaky shooter that can light it up when he's on, but that he'll also shoot you right out of the game when he's not on. I also posted that he's basically one dimensional & is a liability on defense. Oh man! People were furious with me. Many posters were certain he would be an instant starter & big star.

That type of name dropping knowledge is commonplace on GH, CRG. As long as you have been a commentor on GH, you should know that.
 




First negative about Mathieu so far is that he drives into trouble at times. The fact that he's so small only magnifies the issue.
