I'm tired of hearing about how firing Brewster would be terrible right now, and the whole interim BS... blah blah blah. Maturi once said (and all AD would agree) that there is always... always a list of replacements ready for this type of situation. It's time to start working from the top of said list.
Give Brew 1more year!
I'm the idiot who called this game loser-proof after chatting w/ Mick Garry of the Argus Leader... and someone w/in the team. If he has two losses to Dakota schools in 4-years, enough is enough.
The blind sportswriter speaks...everyone bow down and listen to the wisdom of a man who couldn't tell a cover 2 from a cover 3 from a zone read. Now is NOT the time to can Brew. There is a whole season ahead, and in CFB, teams often look drastically different from week to week. Look at Kansas losing to NDSU last week and beating #15 GT this week.
Bottom line, until you learn something about CFB don't call for drastic changes in the program. The ignorant yahoos on this board will do that, but a professional should realize his own limitations and act in a rational manner.
So, act like a pro. Call me back with your opinion when you figure out the difference between an inside and outside zone.
Says the guy who made the following post last week:
"45-7 Gophers. I think the D really dominates in this one and SD only scores a cheap one late against the 2nd team."

+1.
This team is the WORST coached team in all of FBS.
Why does everyone fail to mention that if MTS wouldn't have had such a pathetic defensive line that they would have easily put up thirty or probably forty against us if they had the ball longer than a paltry 15 minutes. Add in Dwight Dasher and we probably would have lost by 20+. Biggest joke of a team I have ever been involved with.
Ole Miss, Kansas, and Va Tech must all be the worst coached teams in CFB too, since they each have a loss as bad as Minnesota's.

MV predicted the same roughly as I did, and he's forgotten more about CFB than you or I will ever know.
But MV, unlike you, probably isn't on a message board telling other people how stupid they are.
I'm just trying to convince people to be reasonable and not overreact. I was hard on Doogie, because, as a member of the press, he should be held to a higher standard than your average internet message board poster.
I fully expect people to go after me, but sometimes that's the price you pay for being reasonable when the masses are largely being unreasonable.
We just lost to USD..the game was humiliating.... Go to the Wiscky and Iowa Boards and see what they are saying about us. Time for a new Coach.
You are the biggest appeaser and excuse maker of anyone on this board...face it we need a new guy...you cant lose to USD and survive it.
