Let's say you know, found out from a very reliable source. A source that you've developed a solid, friendly relationship over the years. Now, you reveal what you know...cutting off that relationship, betraying their trust. That source will be useless in the future. What would you...or anyone else...do?

I think when you are looking at 1400 players missing early on the first tier shouldn't be an issue at MN. I agree with your assessment regarding the coaches and what they bring with them.

Even without the all powerful Twitter I am betting news would still find its way to this site somehow......Shooter's birdies would probably still be flying....or one of our other crack journalists like Doogie would be all over the news. :)

I guarantee you these columns are already written, just waiting to be released. The only question is how many will straight-out call race a factor, and how many will merely poorly veil it.
 

Why not hire some kick butt FIBA coach with connections to all over Europe and the world for players?

Or we could hire Sam Cassell who is familiar with Minnesota as a state and community. He has 15 years' experience coaching in the NBA.

Or we could try to grab Sergio Scariola, who at least knows Ant Edwards from the movie Hustle.

The guy must have connections all over Europe for great players. They just need to enroll in Mini Med School or How to Select Weavil's for Worm Racing. Do we care if they attend class? As long as they can translate the word "dunk", I'm good with whomever becomes coach.
 




I saw Lavelle at ikea in Bloomington a couple of Saturday’s ago. When Thursday comes and the news drops most of us here will post something about right guy wrong job. I’ll find sweet solace that Ben lives by the San Diego mantra of ‘no bad days’.
