He is legit. He is a better QB than what we had.

Our OL is terrible this year.

You give him some time to pass and he is legit.

With a good OL and an OC that wasn't afraid to be aggressive and he is really really good.

Too bad we have an OC that goes conservative until it's too late and our OL.is the worst I have seen in a decade.
 


Definitely a pocket passer. His mechanics are solid and he seems to understand how to place the ball in spots where it's more difficult for defenders to grab them if the passes are off. I wish we had him another year, I think he's one of the better pure qbs we've had in this program and he's spent a lot of time this year acclimating to the change of pace. He's done well considering all of that.
 

He's good. Possibly even as good as advertised. Unfortunately we have a lot of poor play calling and an offensive line that gives him little time to work. A little better line play.....and this team could be 4-1 right now.

I wish we had him another year too! I've thought that frequently. He's doing very well considering it's his first year running our offense, has a poor offensive line and below average receivers aside from Daniel Jackson. We might pick up some excellent WRs from the portal that would like to play with him if we did have him for that extra year. In any case, it should be easier to attract WR talent now that we actually throw the ball. Improve the offensive line's pass blocking and assuming Drake Lindsey works out, we could have a Gopher offense next year that is pretty exciting! Can we leverage Brosmer's play by saying we plan to do the same with Drake Lindsey next year? He's a big, pocket passer, right? I'd say get him on the field, but Brosmer's shown we actually have a chance to come back from even large deficits.

What about Daniel Jackson's NFL future? He seems like he'd be an excellent NFL slot receiver, right? Very quick and unbelievable hands! Excellent ball skills for a guy that is not very big.
 


He’s become accustomed to the speed of the game. The O line should get better with more reps. We should hopefully turn that into some wins. Plus more up tempo!

That said, I’ve kept tabs on Jacob Clark because I think personally that he’s the one that got away. He got injured last year but he’s potentially on his way to the FCS Heisman this year. 6’5, runs really well and is a gamer. I wish it would’ve worked out with him here. Brosmer is kinda a poor man’s Jacob Clark.

If they don’t, then there’s literally no hope.

I think the uptempo can help the run game too.

We need to embrace the Law of unintended consequences🥳. Being behind = creating a new offensive philosophy.
 



Iowa was like a warm up game for Michigan. Very similar teams. Iowa State is turning out to be a very good team and barely beat Iowa. I think Iowa vs. Michigan would be a toss up game. Too bad they don’t play this year. Heard Iowa returned 21 of 22 starters from last year. Seems like half of Michigan’s team from last year went pro. Talk about falling back to the pack. We had absolutely no chance against them last year.

So Clark has a chance to accomplish what Brosmer did last year? He also quit the team so personally, I dont care what he does.

4 inches taller, way faster, better arm. I’m OK with our guys16. I’m just saying Clarks upside is way higher. Would’ve been nice to see what he could’ve done here.
 

Like it or not this is a better passing team than running team (1.5 ypa yesterday) but Brosmer is going to get killed. Currently MN is one of the worst in the nation in sacks allowed and probably only a few are his fault.

He is great at anticipation, hitting check downs and throwing it away. Accurate and calm like Morgan. Now we need Bateman to walk in the door 🤷‍♂️

The beating he took in the first half and then to come back and play with guts and the second half was super impressive
 


It's remarkable how much more time to throw Sam Darnold has compared to Brosmer, and also how much more separation his receivers have. It's not supposed to be like that for a QB.

A good coach adjusts to the personal that he has at his disposal, like you, I am curious to see if a lesson has been learned or will we come out next week with an array of RUTM.

The Vikings look great today, as does Darnold. He was fantastic in the clutch at USC; a gunslinger. Nice to see him get a better opportunity and everyone loves a comeback story.

To be fair, GB pass rush is pretty terrible.

Yet, quite often it is. I don’t know if the “…men of Troy” are quite as formidable on their defensive front seven and in their defensive backfield as Iowa and Michigan appear to be…

We haven't been running much this year, so that would be a change.
