He’s a fairly light-skined black man. Maybe we can dump him after 2.

Used to be common place, but seems it went a way a bit when they played the season in front of no fans. My wife comments on Ben's outfit every game she sees lol she still can't believe he isn't wearing some kind of suit. I would personally love to see it come back for all coaches again.Does anybody know anything about B1G coach dress codes? After seeing Underwood’s sharp sport coat the other night and Maryland’s coach looking crisp suited up last night, why does Johnson dress like a shlub for every game?
Clothes have an impact on confidence. I’ve always liked that PJ wears a tie on the sideline.
Used to be that you knew things were getting serious when the coach chucked his suit coat and loosened up the tie. Pulling the zipper down an inch on a 1/4 pullover doesn't quite have the same dramatic effect.Used to be common place, but seems it went a way a bit when they played the season in front of no fans. Seems like most coaches this year have been wearing a school pull over. I think this continues probably up to tourney timeDoes anybody know anything about B1G coach dress codes? If you tuned in late in the pre DVR era, you could tell how bad the refs were by Clem /Monson's state of undress.Used to be that you knew things were getting serious when the coach chucked his suit coat and loosened up the tie. I miss Richard.Used to be that you knew things were getting serious when the coach chucked his suit coat and loosened up the tie. Pulling the zipper down an inch on a 1/4 pullover doesn't quite have the same dramatic effect.
I miss Richard Coffey too. You knew he was really into the game when he removed his jacket. Just like Jordan Murphy.I miss Richard.
I wonder if a coach would get a technical foul if he literally ripped off his shirt and coached the rest of the game shirtless.Used to be that you knew things were getting serious when the coach chucked his suit coat and loosened up the tie. I thought he also dressed down during the season with no fans. Has he restored the suit with NM?I miss Richard.
NahI miss Richard.
I come here for this! That cancelled MSU game is a feather in his cap. The worst they can do is 1-19 this year.
Yes the crowd would roar when he tore off the sport coat after a bad call.If you tuned in late in the pre DVR era, you could tell how bad the refs were by Clem /Monson's state of undress.
It had better be scalding.#freegophermenbball is trending!
Did Evans just change the seat temp to warm?
Odds are pretty high right now!I would imagine Henley must not have glowing things to say to his buddy. Wonder if he'll be on the way out as well.
I heard he is currently standing on the deck of the Titanic next to the captain. We seem to be hovering very very closely to the Ben is in wayyy over his head stage.
I know, I know, some said that from the start but now it's becoming reality-ish.
The other possibility is that Evans has gotten word that he can take another big time offer (with $) where he feels he fits better and has a cleaner shot at starting day one than here where the one thing we have is 4's and 5's. Henley is in an entirely different situation.I would imagine Henley must not have glowing things to say to his buddy. Wonder if he'll be on the way out as well.
He will be fired by April 1, 2025. Every day that passes between the end of this season and that day with him as the coach is a wasted day.I can understand hiring Johnson. Mistakes happen. However, Letting this massive mistake continue is orders of magnitude worse.
He's not going to succeed. He's in over his head. It's a do-over. The only questions are when, and how much damage is done prior to the inevitable.
Do it.
You'd think if he wanted $, he coulda gotten that from the start though. The other possibility is that Evans has gotten word that he can take another big time offer (with $) where he feels he fits better and has a cleaner shot at starting day one than here where the one thing we have is 4's and 5's. There's a plan? You'd think if he wanted $, he coulda gotten that from the start though.
Idk it's just not a good look, and what is the actual plan with this program?
When does the media demand Coyle make a statement?Wow. this might be the last straw for me.
up to now, Johnson has basically been selling hope - hope that he could recruit better talent and produce a winning program.
but when your marquee recruit -one of the guys you were planning to build your program around - says "I don't want to be part of that program," - you sure as heck can't keep selling hope.
and if you can't sell hope - what's left?
...........................wait, I hear a message coming over the loudspeaker.......................
.................Mr. Coyle....paging Mr. Coyle.........Mr. Coyle, are you there?.................(crickets)
