This weather sucks. I can't recall this deep of a freeze at this point in February.

By contrast today's record High (MSP) in 2017 crossed the 60 threshold.

Just have to go back 11 years to the end of February - first few days of March 2014 where we had a similar Arctic outbreak as what we're seeing this week.

That winter was brutal with a lot more snow than this one. Ended up being the 9th coldest all time at MSP, and coldest since 1978-79.

Yeah we cut our fishing trip to Red Lake a day shorter due to the cold.
