Measured just over 3” on a hailstone we saw just 30 minutes ago here in Wisconsin. Biggest hail I’ve ever seen. We have a bunch of siding damage, lots of car damage and broken windshields in the area.

Luckily our cars were in the garage. I got home from work 2 minutes before the hail started.

Our yard looks like a golf course with a ton of divots in it.

Not surprisingly, insurance approved full roof and siding replacement after this hail. Perfect timing to be honest as we were considering replacing both ourselves in the next year or two.

Lots of damage from storms overnight in western MN. My parents have a bunch of trees down. Their neighbors pontoon flipped over in the lake.

Climatologically this is typically the hottest week of the year, so the heat is right on cue. It will likely be the hottest week we've had in years. Looks like the ridge starts breaking down next weekend.

It's really bad this morning in Wisconsin. The smell is terrible.

Friends of mine near Ely are on alert to evacuate.
