Not even close. If anyone asked, I'd tell them skip Season 5 altogether. Jimmy's episodes at the 6666 Ranch salvaged Season 4 for me personally. I could only tolerate the Beth vs. Jamie storyline for so many episodes.

And so much for "not an inch".

I pretty much agree. I think they wrapped it up as well as they could without Costner, but it was also very predictable.

I tell people who haven't seen it to watch through season 4, episode 1, and beyond that you're not missing much.

I agree, it was pretty tough to top the opening segment as far as sentimentality with Paul Simon (& Sabrina Carpenter) right into Steve Martin's monologue.

The monologue was very good. Mulaney's NY bit was very good. I thought the look back at the most troubling SNL skits montage was a funny and kind of ballsy move. Debbie Downer is one of the best sketches of all time.....and this one made me laugh like they always do. Even De Niro looked like he was holding back laughs for a moment.

This is just a click bait article pushed to me, but I actually had the same thought about McCartney closing the SNL 50 show with Golden Slumbers > Carry That Weight > The End and the band Farley connection.

I thought that had to be a tribute to Farley the second he sang it as well. I still remember that sketch from over 30 years ago.

Loved this too. When they were introducing it, I didn’t think they were actually gonna show the bits. Pretty funny.

Finally finished Gangs of London. Think it might have been the most bloody and brutal series I have ever viewed. Loads upon loads of betrayal and some surprising, far fetched, twists..
