Texas A&M scooped us on an unrated kid from Osseo, Minnesota?

Tough to believe. Makes me wonder if Ben isn't interested but wanted to pass it on to TA&M as a "favor" for trying to take their coach?

Pulled that out of my rear end. Or maybe Texas A&M recruits Minnesota in basketball.

A&M saw him play at an AAU tournament in Alabama yesterday and guess they decided to offer. Ben and staff are well aware of Josh - he visited a few weeks ago. Have to assume he is a bit lower on their board right now - especially with Demarion Watson still out there.

Thanks for the actual info, as opposed to my "throw it against the wall and see if it sticks"

No problem. I assume Minnesota had a coach watching Josh at some point. Not sure it would have been Ben as he was probably chasing around Tre, Carrington, Payne and Watson at other tournaments.

He looks pretty solid to me.

That’s been the word amongst some posters. I thought one person mention her was suppose to commit by this past Friday.

the more interest he starts to get from programs with solid reputation and he still hasn’t committed here, I think it means our odds start to drop.
So yes, hope he commits soon

Missing on him wouldn't be a great sign.
 

Didn't payne say the U was his dream school... Who doesn't commit to their "Dream School" on the spot??

If I misunderstood his quote I appologise in advance

Pharrel Payne: It was great. Definitely a great experience because the Gophers are one of my dream schools. It feels great to have an offer from them.

So we are one of his dream schools. I don't begrudge him for not instantly committing. These guys only get one shot at HS recruitment, and he flew under the radar for so long and now he is probably getting a ton of attention.

I would love if he did commit and hopefully he can see that he would create some momentum here and he could start working on Holloman etc.

I obviously have no info, but something analogous to “never meet your heroes”.
 



Why not take 5 visits and get the equivalent of Murray's 5 times for dinner? No brainer.
