Colton Iverson had a face even his mother didn’t love.Been a while since we've had a big, ugly sumbitch to root for... We're due for one, I think.

Basketball exception to the Pac-12 would make more sense.

Jalen Suggs was the #11 recruit last year, played one year at Gonzaga, had a phenomenal college experience, and is very likely to be a top five NBA draft pick with an outside shot at #1. I think he has done alright for himself playing for “a punk team that isn’t in a real conference.” I doubt he would change a single thing about it, and I think Gonzaga has done more for his draft stock and college basketball experience than any other university could have done.Come on Chet. You don’t want to play for a punk team that isn’t in a real conference. Playing 90% of your games against weak competition is not how you develop talent or get better. To be the best, you have to play against the best.
If they both come out. Not a certainty by any stretch of the imagination.Ayayi is listed on as a first round pick (27) on NBA Draft Net, so don't see him coming back. Timm was 41.
Good point about TImme and he could use another ten lbs across his trunk as well.If they both come out. Not a certainty by any stretch of the imagination.
And I think Timme raised more questions the past two games then answered. He may benefit by an additional year, or he may become further exposed with another year.
He won't be further exposed in that conference. He's a really good player but I'd take Garza in a New York minute over him- just for example. If they both come out. Not a certainty by any stretch of the imagination.

Suggs is going to be a terrific pro. With his mindset he will continue to get better at all aspects of the game.Jalen Suggs was the #11 recruit last year, played one year at Gonzaga, had a phenomenal college experience, and is very likely to be a top five NBA draft pick with an outside shot at #1. My take on Jalen;
He is an NBA level passer right now. And can be a good second unit player on any NBA team immediately. He will make 2-3 plays a night that will make you say wow. He is excellent at off the ball defense and using his physical skills to jump passing lanes
He can be lazy with his off the ball defense as evident with his second foul last night. He can be beat off the dribble too easily for his physical skills and struggled with pick and roll defense in the final 4.
He is an average shooter right now. He misses too many finishes at the rim for my liking. He needs to improve.
He is closer to Chris Dunn than Jason Kidd right now.
I would put him in a range of 5-8 in the draft.
If I am Chet Holmgren, I really don't want to play with Drew Timme. Timme is a really good college player (I think better than Garza) and he will, rightfully, play that post position. Gonzaga likes to run their offense through that extended elbow post player. If Chet isn't playing that position at Gonzaga next year, I think his stock could drop a little. I really think he maximizes his stock by playing the 5 - - getting tons of blocks, dunks and being a highly skilled 5. If he becomes a tall 4 (Timme returns), I don't think he is the same kind of player.Hunter Sallis (incoming frosh #13 overall), Kaden Perry, Andrew Nembhard, Anton Watson, Dominick Harris, Julian Strawther, Oumar Ballo, Ben Gregg

According to Chet and his dad, he'd rather play 2 guard than the 5 in college. If I am Chet Holmgren, I really don't want to play with Drew Timme. I know they said this, but I don't believe it's true. His value is as a super skilled 5, maybe a 4.According to Chet and his dad, he'd rather play 2 guard than the 5 in college.
I agree, shot blocking arguably his greatest strength. His timing is incredible.I know they said this, but I don't believe it's true. His value is as a super skilled 5, maybe a 4.
He is a super versatile guy but opposing coaches would prefer Chet slapping the floor on the perimeter to him patrolling the lane. One of his best skills is that he really is a defensive presence inside.
Just what they need. A winner. A bull who leads by example.
At the rate our roster is entering the transfer portal, Chet might get to play the 1-5 all by himself. He might also have to fill the Gatorade jugs and collect jock straps from our 2 bench players after the game. Now that most of our team is in the transfer portal, coach J can sell him on the opportunity to earn immediate play time!
He could play a different position each game. What better way to showcase his talent? At the rate our roster is entering the transfer portal, Chet might get to play the 1-5 all by himself. He might also have to fill the Gatorade jugs and collect jock straps from our 2 bench players after the game.
You do realize he could be a 5 on defense and perimeter on offense. Would make whatever team extremely versatile.I know they said this, but I don't believe it's true. His value is as a super skilled 5, maybe a 4.

Kispert has to be better than what he looked like in the tourney. What does Gonzaga have in the cupboard for next year?
