All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Still have the ball sitting on a shelf next to the signed Viking helmet by Darrisaw and a signed Bobby Jackson basketball.

I wish Alcala could have been great here cause the stuff is really good. He just has been so bad since that blowup in Texas last year. That game basically turned the entire season for the twins.

Alcala's blowup against Texas last year lit the fuse, but the season falling apart was pretty inevitable given the injuries sustained in Aug-Sept...Ryan, Correa & Buxton primarily.

Hopefully that’s an AS autograph ball soon🤠

I’m glad they’re giving him a fresh start.

Who knows if he ran into some personal issues that have been affecting him🤷‍♂️

Hope he lands on his feet and has a good, not great, solid career ahead of him.

Trade for Kyle Gibson. We need an arm. He's not as bad as his #'s to this point. Edit: Now the Rays, but I'm guessing they'd still trade him.

If they could have had Gibson for nothing a few days ago, I am not sure why trading for him now makes sense.

He signed with the Rays 5/28 before all the #$$$ hit the fan. Unfortunate timing.

Ok, fair enough.

Gibson could be worth take a cheap flier despite the ERA north of 16.00. He signed late, so did not have a full Spring Training.

Of course it happens in a meaningless spot. Minnesota sports.
He's also been injured on Opening Day, in Spring Training, crashing into a wall playing OF as well as shoveling snow.

If it hadn't happened in the 9th inning last night, it may have just as easily occurred while catching a ride back to the hotel.
