Inane call on unsportsmanlike conduct on McCardell🤦‍♂️

That’s a penalty on 51 for ripping his helmet off

Eberflus says he handled the final minute the right way. What? If the embarrassing clock management doesn't cost him his job, the fact that he doesn't understand why it was bad certainly should.

Your Bears going winless against the NFC North action is certainly living a charmed life at the halfway point.

I'm less optimistic than I was yesterday. They just might snag one of these last division games. It would be an epic ticket to cash, at 35-1, but not exactly spending that money yet.

The overwhelming urge to ball-wash Caleb Williams at every turn is pretty impressive honestly. He chucked it up almost 40 times against a Lions defense that lost several guys to injury, people going in and out of the game all day long, and completed just a shade over 50%, and people just can't say enough.

This game reminds me exactly of last year on Christmas Day when the Chiefs threw up all over themselves and sleep walked through a home Holiday game, losing to the woeful Raiders at home. This game was exactly that; a Detroit team that was basically half-present mentally

I heard that if a team wants to grab Daniel Jones from us and place him on the active roster, they can because he's currently on our practice squad. If that request came, do the Vikings get the opportunity to move him to the active roster and avoid losing him?

Jones can refuse to sign with another team if he knows the Vikings intend to elevate him or provide a better future.

Looking for a 10+ point win today.

The Cards have the following decencies -

2nd lowest pressure rate - good luck covering our receivers for extended periods

17th against the run - Jones goes for another 100 yd game and rushing TD

They only trail Ravens and Lions in explosive play rate and only five teams have more rushing yards than the Cards, but our run D is number 1. This puts too much pressure on Murray and he throws a couple of picks.

Here is where each team ranks in the following categories, using explosive play rate for explosiveness and success rate for efficiency:

VIKINGS
CARDINALS
Off turnovers28th11th
Def turnovers2nd16th
Off explosiveness8th3rd
Def explosiveness21st13th
Off efficiency13th6th
Def efficiency1st30th

As usual, I ain’t this smart, but The Athletic is 😃

I would not be surprised by a healthy margin of victory for the Vikings.

The Cardinals are one of the best coached teams in the league and what they are doing has been pretty impressive; but they are doing it with one of the least talented rosters in the NFL. They are at least a year away from contending. 1st rounder Marvin Harrison Jr is a good player, but he has not made a massive impact outside of 2-3 games.

I will say that their pass rush could/should get a slight boost today when their 1st round draft pick, Edge rusher Darius Robinson, appears to finally be suiting up for his first game of the season after battling a calf injury since training camp. He'll be on a pitch count I'm sure, but I'm interested to see how he plays. He was pretty impressive in training camp

Stop James Conner and it should be a 10+ point win today. He's vital to their offense, both rushing and receiving.

Jefferson is due to break out and one (1) of my Fantasy teams would certainly appreciate it.

Suppose we were due for a missed field goal from a backup kicker

Gink!

We keep running JJ into double coverage. How about some short quick passes, especially with o-line struggling.
