All Things 2024-25 Vikings Regular Season Thread

Naturally the one time I root for the Packers...

This is one where I’m happy no matter who wins.

Jordan Love sucks.
I preferred to view the game different manner, I was happy no matter who lost.

I wonder if Love's performance was injury related? Problem is, he's injured seemingly quite often.

Vikings/Rams winner get a date next Sunday in Philadelphia on NBC. boooo wanted the Bucs to win.

OK - FWIW - MN Star-Tribune staffers make their picks for Vikes/Rams Game:

Mark Craig: Rams 27, Vikes 24
Ben Goessling: Rams 21, Vikes 17
Andrew Krammer: Vikes 24, Rams 20
Emily Leiker: Vikes 28, Rams 24
LaVelle E. Neal III: Vikes 26, Rams 24
Michael Rand: Vikes 30, Rams 27
Pat Reusse: Vikes 31, Rams 9
Chip Scoggins: Vikes 24, Rams 21
Jim Souhan: Rams 27, Vikes 22

tally - 6 for the Vikings - 3 for the Rams

I admire Reusse's work both in print and other media, but when he gets optimistic about a Minnesota team it usually does not work out well from my memory.

on the lighter side - was reading an article about what the Cardinals had to do in order to host the Vikings/Rams game.

it included this tidbit about food - check out the numbers.....

Food? State Farm Stadium was not scheduled to host another major event until Feb. 1, the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Suddenly, the NFL needed to prepare to feed 60,000 people. On a normal game day, Dalton said State Farm Stadium goes through 4,500 orders of chicken fingers, 3,000 hamburgers, 5,500 individual pizzas, 10,000 hot dogs and 3,500 pounds of corn kernels for popcorn. The Cardinals worked with Craft Culinary Concepts to quickly stock their stadium shelves.

Eagles fans strike again. There's always idiots in every fan base but the fact that no one around them said anything to the moron is telling.

You’re not in Ottumwa anymore Radar🥸

Perhaps, they take the lyrics too literally 🤷

Of course,I’m not condoning this type of behavior; just trying to to make light of it, as it’s not uncommon at sporting events or in awkward day-to-day encounters in my neck of the woods.

Interesting article in general about the logistics of the move from SoFi to Glendale.

Why?

Do you want Detroit instead of Philly?

I’ll take another chance to get home field vs. playing Detroit next; anything could happen including a Commie W with Daniels at the controls😃

We have a better shot of winning againist Detroit then we do againist the Eagles. I would rather take my chances at Detroit. but that out the window now since Washington won.

Nick Mullens will back up Sam Darnold tonight. Daniel Jones is the emergency 3rd QB.

Agree to disagree and it may be proven wrong or right next week😀

31~21

Sam throws 3 scoring strikes and no INTs.

Tomorrow he’ll be a $70M/a year QB 🤣

Late juice on the Vikings, pushing the number back to Vikings (-2.5) from where it was sitting for a little bit at Vikings (-2).

Vikings have been 4-0 on real grass this season, whereas the Rams have not been great (not terrible).

I think the Vikings win and move on.

They didn't even have a play called, it was just line up with a long count. High School stuff.

When push comes to shove and the big game comes

This org chooses GUTLESS every time

What an embarrassing start. This Rams offense laughs right in Flores face

On the bright side don't have to worry about being baited into a brutal contract for a god awful QB

Darnold is and always has been terrible
