All Things 2024-25 Vikings Regular Season Thread

End of the third, and not looking good. It’s starting to feel like they need the D to step up and make a big play. KOC, Darnold, Reichert all having their worst games of the year.

Ballgame. What a let down. This isn't an all-time Minnesota team peeing down its leg in a big game but it's in the top 10 or so.

This could turn into a blowout. Game was for the taking and the offense/kicker decided not to show up. Sigh.

If the Vikings were the filthy Lions, they’d be diving at the knees of the Lions’ receivers. Unfortunately, the Lions are dirty and, like the Saints before them, that comes from the top. It’s effective until others fight back.

The good news is I did not want the Vikings to pay Darnold the moon.

That will not be happening.

Haven't seen Vikes play like this all season. Credit to our defense, but they can only do it by themselves for so long.

We blitz and Goff throws to the vacated area. Lions are out coaching and outplaying the queens and it’s not even close. Yet OC can’t figure out how to get our WR open against Man coverage. The Vikings have been exposed

If this prevents a foolish multi-year Darnold contract, it's probably for the best.

if you want a chance at winning tonight, you HAVE to go off of Darnold the rest of the way.

I'd pull as many starters as possible and gear up for the Rams.

Hopefully back in Motown in less than a fortnight.
