All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Clark sure will ease the transition if NAW goes elsewhere. I hope we can keep NAW, though...his position versatility brings a lot of value.

I like NAW but he’s the easiest to replace on the roster, especially when you have 3 rookie guards. His money is better spent elsewhere.

Being over the Cap, his salary can't be spent elsewhere if he walks. We simply lose his current contract slot unless we do a S&T with him after the season which is certainly possible.

I get your point, though...keeping Naz is a far greater concern.

Now that Mark Williams trade to Lakers has been mixed, wonder if it is weird for Williams and the two Lakers players to go back to their original team.

Tough stretch of games coming up. Giannis out until after asg. That will help Wednesday

I like what Clark has done, that being said, wish he was just a couple inches taller. NAW has that length, but like you guys are saying, he will probably be gone.

If you look at their combine measurements, NAW only has 1/4" on Clark's height and about a 1/2" on his reach. It's not much. Clark is just built thicker.

That surprises me. I thought for sure, from just watching, that NAW had at least a couple inches on him.
Edit: Thought Naw was about 6'6" and Clark about 6'4"
Looked it up and you are correct. They are listed almost identical.

Unless Williams pulled a Laettner and called everyone else in the locker room a loser on the way out, it's just business. Cam Reddish has been traded about 15 times, so he probably isn't even sure what team's bench he's supposed to be sitting at the end of.

Cleveland has won 6 of their last 7, only loss was to Boston. Great season so far. Geeze, 5.5 games up on the Celtics.

6 minutes in the game and the Wolves have 0 points. down 13-0.

The game last night was the worst plus/minus of the season for Naw.
Previously was -21 last night was -33

Since January 1st, NAW is shooting 39% from the field and losing the ball a lot.

He is somewhat overrated by wolves fans.

He plays hard and gives 100%, but I like him playing less and more with the second unit.

2nd apron, can’t S&T.

Must be below that line.

How you guys can stay on top of all those details is way over my head. These contract situations are so dang complicated.

Last night seemed like such a terrible match up. Really think they missed Randle in that game, but who knows? Good one to forget I guess.

Gawd, this fu-----g team.

LMAO

It is unfathomable how pathetic Ant is in the clutch. Like embarrassing.

And this team. Just horrible losses all the time. Couldn't get 1 key stop against the Bucks D team

Have to clean house and get someone clutch to help Ant whose a first 43 minutes of the game type player.

Well earned loss.

Hey Ant you are really good at going downhill to the basketball. Want to take it to OT or maybe get an and one? Nah I settle for a 3 when I was 4-16 from behind the arch in the game.

Is someone actually coaching thus mess?

Ant was 10 of 33 with launched three after launched three when he couldn't buy one.

It was 99-98, Milwaukee, and he launched a ridiculous 3 that clanked. It's just unreal, like watching a broken record.

I love the wolves, but sometimes I hate them.

Dilly has been unplayable lately. Clark was 0 for the night and just missed one layup after the next. McDaniels is reverting back to McDaniels.

NAW.........blah

Just another disgusting loss. Just putrid. Not one good thing came out of that game. Maybe, Shannon Jr. I guess.
