Why on earth is #6 Alabama in Grand Forks on a Wednesday night in December?
Treysen Eaglestaff certainly would be starting for us.
If he decides to go the free agent route next season, he just made himself a whole bunch of money. .
They were really something. Everett Chasing Hawk was my favorite.Back in the 70s, a Fort Yates (Standing Rock) prep team was led by an Eaglestaff. No doubt Treyson is a relation.
That team made it to the state championship game going against the Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks, etc. schools. Don't recall if they won or not. However, the team came out onto the floor wearing Native American headresses. Dribbled around the court a couple times and took the headdresses off at midcourt. Was a huge deal at the time in North Dakota. They became the darlings of that state tournament going against the bigger city schools.

Warriors honoring a legend in Eaglestaff
There are a few schools, but not many, where you think of that school and a certain athlete pops into your head.bismarcktribune.com

Here's another one you - and maybe only you - didn't see coming:Ohio state beating Kentucky by 16 with 2 minutes to go. I didn't see that coming.
FWIW, as a proud Oriole I’ll note the Curtis brothers from St. Louis Park are committed to North Dakota. Why on earth is #6 Alabama in Grand Forks on a Wednesday night in December? Local player on the Tide?
UND 38, Alabama 35 - Halftime - CBS Sports Network
So you're saying there's a chance. Here's another one you - and maybe only you - didn't see coming:
UST 93
Bowling Green 68
The game was played at BGSU, The Falcons are now 4-7 and ranked #281 on Torvik
Only 23 and Me knows (OK, maybe Ancestry.com too)BTW, is Torvik a Norwegian or Swede?
Washington is bad this year, but Danny Sprinkle has a strong recruiting class for next year, so in their case, the future looks somewhat bright.Watching Washington lose to Seattle tonight, I'm saying the Gophers will have a chance to win one game in the B1G.
Flip their W and it's an M. The Huskies look like the Westcoast version of the Gophers. Man they're bad.
