Well maybe that's good for the soul.
Dreaming of the Sunday February 1978 match-up with Louisville at Williams Arena—after playing Purdue on Saturday. That was a weekend—and a hockey series with Wisconsin.I was thinking the same thing.....will we ever see the Gophers play a meaningful NC game on national television like this????

he has played in the Pro-am the last couple of summers. He will get some shots up.There's a Minneapolis native, Terrence Brown, that's leading FDU in scoring at 22.2 ppg and shooting 50% from the field, 6 rebounds and almost 3 assists so he may be looking to show out Saturday. Only a sophomore btw.
Go Huskies! That’s D2 Michigan Tech, btw
The more pathetic the losses look, the closer Ben is to the door. That loss to Wichita State looking more and more pathetic with each passing day. Lose by 20 to DePaul with a first year HC. Lose by 10 at HOME to Kansas City. Good job Ben.
Let’s be nice. The more pathetic the losses look, the closer Ben is to the door.
Grant Nelson is from Devil's Lake, ND; about 90 miles west of UND.Why on earth is #6 Alabama in Grand Forks on a Wednesday night in December? Local player on the Tide?

We didn’t want T Brown here at the U?There's a Minneapolis native, Terrence Brown, that's leading FDU in scoring at 22.2 ppg and shooting 50% from the field, 6 rebounds and almost 3 assists so he may be looking to show out Saturday. Only a sophomore btw.
We smell like beef and cheese. The more pathetic the losses look, the closer Ben is to the door.
Treysen Eaglestaff certainly would be starting for us.North Dakota just gave #6 Alabama all they could handle.
The Fighting Whatevers are probably better than the Gophs.
Put Paul Sather on the list (no not really.)North Dakota just gave #6 Alabama all they could handle.

It's purely hypothetical. I'm not sure Ben would recruit a guy who makes 76 percent of his free throws.Treysen Eaglestaff certainly would be starting for us.
If he decides to go the free agent route next season, he just made himself a whole bunch of money. .
Classy move by both sidesGrant Nelson is from Devil's Lake, ND; about 90 miles west of UND.
“We obviously did it for Grant,” head coach Nate Oats said. “We try to take care of our guys when we can. There’s obviously no big-time, high-major programs up there, but they’ve got some pretty good basketball. North Dakota’s done a good job. I think Coach (Paul) Sather has done a pretty good job. They’ve won a decent amount of games in his years there.
“They helped us out with the game, called us. We’re playing in their arena, so I’m sure it’ll be packed. I don’t know for sure, but I’m guessing this is the highest-ranked team they’ve had coming into that arena. It’ll be good. We obviously did it to get Grant playing back close to family. Hopefully a lot of Grant’s family and friends and people he went to school with … will be there and we’ll get a decent crowd for us and for him.”
