Great info on Gophers in the NFL and their contracts. Of the 14 Gophers with contracts 10 are on their rookie deals. We are 40th in college teams with NFL players, but rank lower than than when it comes to total earnings. However, that will be changing in the years to come as we go up the list.

Guessing that he didn't consider him one of their top 5 receivers at this point. Either that or he's dinged up, but haven't heard that.

This past weekend of NFL action made me appreciate how many Gophers were in the league. It also made me wonder if you could build a professional roster with Gopher players.

It's not really possible with only current roster spots. But if you pulled from NFL rosters, practice squads, free agents and players from other leagues, you can put something interesting together.

Burkhardt and Greg Olson made it a point to mention Kieft and how much the Bucs love him during their game with the Saints. Having a future HOF TE bring you up is probably a good thing.

Rashod Bateman, who was often considered to lack that extra gear (in part because he played for Minnesota and not a CFP-type team) had a max speed of 21.48 MPH on his 75 yard TD.

This is the second-fastest ballcarrier speed of the year so far in the NFL. Looked smokin' fast burning the Dolphins with speed.

Jeez the Bucs have a lot of injuries. They should have hung on to TJ. He would almost be starting by now.
