Go Gophers!!

Not sure on Ware but if he really wants to be closer to family in Georgia I would think Auburn would be an option, read that he originally committed to Pearl out of high school.

No. A great story, not a great player.

I doubt he will transfer here and who knows what the injury has done to him. But he was a top 50 player coming out of HS. Maybe not a "great" player, but more highly ranked than anyone on our current roster.

You've gotta wonder if, with the connections our coaches have out east, (Pitino, Young, McHale) they might do some recruiting, or it could just be strictly focusing on the games

I'd be surprised if they aren't doing some recruiting on this trip.

Go Gophers!!

We would have to compete with Indiana, Purdue, Butler, etc, but getting him would be HUGE. He would easily be our best player, and would transform our lineup into a deadly one.

It would be great to land him but I'm pretty sure he is another one of those guys that everyone will be after.

He says he wants to be closer to home(Indianapolis) because of his little brother. How is Mpls closer to Indianapolis than Morgantown is?

Harris would be the perfect replacement for Hollins in 2015.

He's likely not coming here, so it's moot point, but he wouldn't replace Andre in 2015 (why would he come here to do that anyways?). Harris is a good enough player to where he'd start over, or next to Andre next year if he were here.

Would he be eligible right away? I assumed he'd have to sit out a year, he's only a sophomore-FYI.

Yep, I don't think the rumor has any legs behind it, but there have been weirder things that happen in recruiting. I still think he ends up as a Hoosier, Boilermaker, or Bulldog. I wouldn't be shocked if Notre Dame, Pitt, and Ohio State were in the running as well.

Still TBD I guess. He is trying to get a waiver to play next year, not sure he'll get one though. Who knows, maybe West Virginia is stingy enough to where they don't ever release him...

Have done their internal homework? So there was a conversation regarding their potential interest in recruiting him? Groundbreaking stuff Doogie.

He WILL NOT get a waiver to play next year at MN.

I'll be really surprised if Harris doesn't end up at IU.

I'm currently here on Indiana's campus right now, and it's very impressive. If I were him this is definitely a place I'd want to play. I'd also bet he ends up a Hoosier.

It's worth noting that Chicago power forward Josh Cunningham is making his college decision next wednesday, and Minnesota is on his final list of 6.

Eron is a great three point shooter, not so hot off the dribble. Poor defensive player and is a borderline head case. He was not offered by any of the major Indiana schools coming out of high school.

Just noticed Cinmeon Bowers was released from his nli at Florida State. Anyone interested with the Chipola/Carlos Morris connection?

Go Gophers!!

I don't understand why anyone would want to play at Bradley. Do they actually go to Peoria on their official or are they tricked and taken to another city that's not a completely depressing $hithole and told it's Peoria?

Does anyone have any insight on Bakary Konate? I think I read somewhere that there may be academic issues, but I'm not sure if that was speculation or not. Crystal Ball still has him at 69% for Louisville which seems nearly impossible. It would be nice to address the pivot soon and an athletic shot blocker would help us increase the tempo (IMO). I would be very content with Piper, Konate and Cohen (or a transfer) to round out what feels like an underrated class.

Maybe it's just being too optimistic, but if Piper was signing at UW, wouldn't he have taken an official? It seems if he was going to sign there he would have done it by now, but is holding off cause he is picking the Gophers and doesn't want the backlash in his hometown during the season when he decides to leave the state.
