So is it just about a given that he's going to Gonzaga or UCLA then?

Some notes on Josh Gray, who @JucoRecruiting says was offered by Minnesota.

Basically a quick guard who creates stills. Nasty on the dribble, can make defenders look foolish, but he's not a great shooter.

Ties to both Louisiana and Texas.. some off the court stuff, but talented/has potential and I think some of his skill set fits in well with Pitino. Already has a number of HM's on him and if everything is going smoothly at Odessa College this year even more will go after him.

He left Texas Tech a couple of weeks after Tubby's arrival.

He was just offered by Nebraska as well.

GW, are you able to expound on what the "off court stuff" entailed?

And this one is a very short list! I hope we get this guy so bad! He's so quick and so strong! Plus he's a 4 year player!
 

Awesome. Would be huge to get him. Seems like the type of pass-first PG that others would want to play alongside.

Yes not good news. 2 star kid....offers from Wis. Green Bay, North Dakota State and Oregon State. Not what people are expecting from Pitino.
 



Also, interesting that he has Indiana in there, I haven't seen one site with him having an offer from them

I didn't think so either... Luckily it wont matter if Snider commits... Would seriously open the door for us landing Tum Tum! Pitino it's time to close!!!

I like our chances with Lourawls, I think Indiana ends up with another PG.

Would be an interesting development if Tyus ultimately helps us land our starting point guard. It would have probably been tough to pass up Kansas if this information is accurate. Take your time, Tyus.....take your time.

Interesting, maybe Self thinks he has a legit shot at Tyus. I'm guessing they prefer Jordan Mclaughlin too since he has an offer already.

Who else does INDIANA have at PG that would conflict with him?

He is a 4yr guy right? I would assume being a 4star.

Yogi Ferrell if he doesn't declare for the draft, plus they are looking at other PG's in 2014 as well as top PG's in 2015 that they want more.

I knew of Yogi, was curious if they had a higher ranked PG in front of Tum Tum for 2014 that we could look to as an indicator.


Stupid as it sounds, but I want this dude because my wife would love him... She loved CoCo Crisp. I wouldn't get half as much *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# over the winter months for watching 2 Gopher games a week + any other B1G or now Big East games that are televised....
 

FWIW both Scout and Rivals list Nairn as having a Kansas offer. This could very well not be accurate but I thought it was worth mentioning.
 

Craziest part about Tum Tum is he didn't starting playing seriously until he was almost 13... Means he'll only get better.

And to answer the question about Indiana for 2014 they really want Snider who just decommitted from Louisville.

Hopefully him cutting them from his list actually means they are cut from his list. We've already seen that isn't always the case (Whitehead, Baldwin).

Not a consensus 3*. Was Top 100 and 4* on ESPN. Was also a 4* on scout.

So if anything he was more a 4* than 3*.

Plus. I don't think anyone would complain if our #61 point guard improved enough to leave early after 3 years.
