2025 Transfer Portal Watch

Another CSU player has hit the portal: Jalen Crocker-Johnson. He's a soph big man who had a pretty decent year. We'll see if he ends up here.
In terms of big 10, he’s not big. He’d have to play SF most likely. But Crocker-Johnson and BJ Omot (assuming we land them), would be leagues better than Odukale and Fox.

I’m hoping we can get at least 2 dudes in the portal that are 6’10 or bigger and can play.

Thanks.

I guess nothing should surprise me anymore.
do you suppose the Cretin/De Lasalle rivalry was too much and he couldn't play for Ben but now that Niko is here, he wants to come home? and he can over-look Thorsen being a D guy?
yeah it's a stretch.
my other dream scenario is Tre and Will Tschetter going to UST to get to the tourney in year 1

Gotta think we have a very good shot to land Tre.

Make it happen Niko!

Go Gophers!!
I want to think you're right, but by all indications that guy seemed to bleed Green & White. Makes me think a payday is the main motivation here but I will gladly eat crow if he ends up in Dinkytown!

My dream is that I never read these words on gopherhole again.

As a Cretin alum, I've never considered DeLaSalle HS to be a rival. Maybe it is now, I don't know, but I've never heard that.

Can't tell if serious or not, but let's assume so...no, I do not think a HS that Ben Johnson graduated in 1999 played a role in Tre's decision where to go to college in 2023.

Go Gophers!!

I do like Holloman and would love to see him in maroon and gold, but do fear he may be asking for more NIL than he may be worth.
He was awful in the game vs. Auburn and was very inconsistent this season. Great FT shooter though. Would take him but don't think he should be a higher priority than Evans.

Could this be an overreaction to how brutally the fans berated him on social media for his Auburn performance?

I bet he stays put when it's all said and done.

But if not, get him, Niko! Cold three-point shooting doesn't scare me!

Have him pull up from half court at the end of every close game! What a closer

There's speculation that maybe Holloman knows (or is convinced) Jase Richardson is likely to return for his sophomore season, so MSU's guard room would be pretty full again (Richardson & Fears). It would be understandable if he wanted to go somewhere where (in addition to collecting a good sum of money) he can be a main man at the guard position. He certainly would be that here.

This.

I also think MSU adds shooting in the portal.

Yep, MSU absolutely needs to add a sniper, probably even two. That's what held them back this season. ... think they were near dead last in 3-point shooting in all of Division 1. It certainly reared its ugly head Sunday.

That would be surprising with Richardson, some mock drafts have him in the top ten
