That's true. Just for reference, I have been around the Legislature for 49 years in a variety of capacities, both on staff and as a lobbyist for a variety of clients, and one thing I've learned over the years vis-a-vis the MSHSL is that they really try to steer clear of the Legislature unless they are dragged into an issue.If the state legislature mandates broadcasting of events they should accompany it with funding. iMO
I think the MSHSL fear would be in return for receiving money, they would be forced to surrender control to some extent. I saw close-up the fight over two-class hockey and how the MSHSL fought that tooth-and-nail until a couple of very influential legislators rammed it through.
