2020-2021 College Basketball Other Games Thread

Mason Madsen got 19 minutes in a close game against Tulane. Anyone know if Gabe is injured, or if they're just playing Mason over Gabe? I thought the Gophers only offered Gabe and not Mason, but they wanted to play somewhere together

Plenty of fans in attendance for Texas Tech West Virginia. Shaping up to be a wild ending

Chris Beard with a bizarre display to get himself ejected from this one. The last time I saw someone rolling around on the court and getting teed up was Tommy Penders.

Here is the video. Embarrassed himself bigtime. (Although part of me likes to see attention drawn to the poor quality of officiating that we too often see.).

NW loses their 10th straight. From 6-1 and ranked 19th to now 6-11. wonder how much OSU's loss to them is going to sting on SS.

NW lost due to the same strategy that doomed the Gophers a time or three - letting the clock run down while one guy dribbles away the chance to seal the game. Multiple times at the end of regulation and first OT.

This is one of the best/funniest ejections I've seen. He hardly embarrassed himself as it was intentional. He wanted to get kicked out and the refs weren't doing it, so he made them. The best part and proof he was in control was he went over to Huggs (who's had his tirades himself) and gave him a fist bump. Beard is extremely calculated and in control.

Guess people see things differently, but to me this display comes across as arrogance. Has to show everyone how he is out-of-the-box, next level coach. Puts him in the calipari/self lane in my book, which is not impressive.

Couldnt agree more with him though on officials needing a comeuppance. Have never understood why officials stand like statues.
I feel if officials would be willing to slide a few feet left or right it would improve their angle of vision and would be very helpful. Too often seems to me that refs are blocked out from the play and are basically just guessing - especially on potential shooting fouls.

Gotta make those open 3’s

I guess I spoke too soon. Nebraska now up by 5 with 3:40 to go.

No idea what Hoiberg drew up but whatever it was didn’t seem effective. Almost like going one on one was a better option there

Cockburn shoots the ball so poorly. Looks painful. Perpetually injured?

I'm starting to I think we should start Freeman over Tre and tell him Cockburn isn't allowed to get a FG attempt off in the first half.

I don't know what happened the first 38 minutes, but for the last 7 Nebraska looked every bit as awful as they did Monday.

Looks like it is starting to happen. Would have loved to see the upset but it seems the tide has turned.
Just as well. We want Illinois overdue for a loss next Saturday.

Hard to imagine wolverines playing well today. Badgers get them at a good time.

Might be a bit of good fortune for michigan, who hasnt played for 3 1/2 weeks, to get a team that plays at a slow pace.
