    I see 2 more wins

A lot changes happen from game to game and team to team. There are more than several ways to win a game and more than several ways to lose a game I’m going to just let each game play out and I won’t know how many wins and how many losses my favorite team will will have until the season ends...

What grade would you give Gophers coaching in the win over Purdue?

A The mission of beating the Boilers was accomplished by TAKING what the Boilers gave this Gopher Team. That is a pretty damn important thing to do on a night when things ate not going so perfectly. For that: I give every Gopher involved in this victory an A. Now: on to the game with the...

RandBall: If the Gophers are a ‘really good football team,’ it’s time to show it

Take the B1G games one game at a time. When and IF most B1G teams take a look at a 4 game stretch against Purdue, Nebraska, Iowa and Michigan State and say it should be expected to win at least 3 of the games and and quite possibly 4 of the 4 games that’s some pretty reckless and entitled...

    Gophers -9.5 over Purdue

Purdue may very well be a shot in the arm for the running game. The Purdue run defense is not the Ohio State run defense… ;0)

Memory lane - attending a game at the shoe

My brother and I made our one and only trip to C-town and the Horseshoe in 2000 andI have no reason to ever make that sacred trek again. It was amazing to hear the Rouser echo through the silent famed stadium during the final moment of that incredible game A good friend and his two young sons...

You gotta feel for USC. What were they supposed to do? Find a group of 11 more teams in or near the pacific time zone and play them every week?

One of these days the Tesla Moon Bowl will happen…sponsored by data centers anonymous and Murdoch tic tok Enterprises.

Play Koi Perich and John Nestor at corner against Rutgers' tall receivers?

Sometimes a change of scenery gives a. player chances that he was never given at his “…0LD school…”. Maybe those coaches are so damn good at Iowa that they never miss on anybody if they are totally sold on the fantastic players they have put ahead of another player on the depth chart. Maybe...

Play Koi Perich and John Nestor at corner against Rutgers' tall receivers?

Perhaps Iowa was holding back the young man’s potential by not playing him or playing him behind some other players at the same position. You said yourself that the three players ahead of him last year while he was still on the Iowa team got torched last week in the first half against...

Or: the NFL playing games in Dublin and London. Come on people: get with the times! “…follow the brave new world lead of the NFL multi-billion dollar net worth owners club brain trust!…”. Don’t cave in to ESPN and their little pet SEC league. The college players need to learn how to deal...

So where we all at 3 games in?

Hoping for 5 or 6 B1G wins, fun match-up in a bowl game with a happy ending. So that could be 7-8 wins with a chance to win a bowl game too. Win at least one trophy game and I would call that a pretty nice season! Beat that team from Jersey, Gopher!

Gophers five point favorites against Rutgers

Minnesota wins by 10. Rutgers has a weak to bad defensive team. This will be B1G win #1 in this 2025 season for the Golden Gopher Team!

    Koi Perich ...

Just let go of it. Game film sessions and a coach to player talk will take care of things that need to be taken care of between Koi and the coach. If people want something to cry about, talk about: things that could have been done to put more pressure on the Cal qb all through the game. That...

Blaine McCorkle press conference after facing MN.

T-Boone-Pickens died a number of seasons ago. He did take care of Okie State pretty damn well, but unless he operates as “…pickens ghost…” those good times have become a lot leaner…. ;0)

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

No matter how often or even how seldom he is asked to take a snap. CW will be the presence in that qb room. JJ and Max will learn from CW!

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

Very well stated…and to help the young ones deal with the ups and downs of a big loss or an incredible win. Never get too cocky or too down. Twenty two and twenty four need a lot of stability in their qb room before this season is finished. Seems to me CW was a great hire and will be a great...

Expectations vs Reality: My humble opinion on the state of the program and its future based on my own experiences with Gopher Football

Power 5 teams with 9+ wins in each of the last three full seasons

We must recall that the chances of winning 9 games or more greatly increased in 2006 when a 12th game was added to the 11 game season schedule that allowed for a division 1AA game to count towards bowl elegibility. A 9 win season is still a big deal though!!!
