Glad to win, glad he’s done.

Yeah, I think the second half is more Fleck than Morgan.

IMHO, Fleck made a conscious decision to try and win the game while putting the players at the least amount of risk possible on a terrible field.

also, it seems likely that the game plan was to get Mo his records first. IF Athan doesn't get hurt, and IF the field wasn't a disgrace, we might have seen a very different game plan for the rest of the game, but we'll never know.

it wasn't pretty, but an ugly win is better than a pretty loss.

at least in my book.

I have never seen a Gopher win that was not pretty as I look back a few years in the win/loss column.

9/4 is a good record and always will be a good record during my 60 plus years of being a Gopher football fan. Thanks to the players and coaches of this most recent 9 win season!

Beat the stinking badger and the stinking hawkeye, Gopher!

Tanner took this program to another level. I too, like most people, had concerns about him at times. To me, he was kinda like Mitch Leidner with his stats maxed out. Don't think it's fair to bash the guy after his last game. However, I do sympathize with your points about Athan. I think his ceiling is higher than any gopher QB ever.
