Tanner was the pits his last year. But with our run run run head coach, what quality q.b. would come here just to hand the ball off? Until he opens it up, we will have poor q.b.'s coming here.
Fleck should have said " no thanks" to Tanner at the end of last year. Really don't understand the man love for him. Had some transfer out after they said he was coming back. Not sure how they are doing but I hated it when they said he was coming back.
His record wasn't great but not the worst I have seen. So what would you do as a parent if say the the coach had been there for 25 seasons and losing record in 22 of them with several seasons of zero wins or 1-2 wins per season? 1 conference titile in those 25 years and no trips to championship...
Slow start and a lot of standing around away from ball. But loved the hard work-athletically they are not Michigan State. They will pass all expectations before the season.
Taking the air out of the ball is a strategy a coach can use and other coaches have to prepare for. As a coach, I don't care if fans like it or not, if it helps me win a game, I want to be able to use it.
