I agree with Chip. The team played well enough to win the game. PJ should have been more aggressive. Hopefully he "changes his best" after running lame conservative offensive play calling against BG, Illinois, and Iowa.

Really depends on who else PJ could get to be OC. I like Simon because he is "one of us" and helped us win a bowl game, but there definitely could be some more qualified candidates whenever that time comes.

Just like all the other P5 programs, ours has blowhard fans too. OL and pass protection was awful, QB wasn't sharp, receivers were not sharp. Our offense executed poorly, the play calling was questionable. 0-1 on the Illinois season and the gophers have lost a bunch of steam heading down to Iowa...

Beat Iowa and Wisconsin in the same season is my holy grail. Rose Bowl holds great symbolism but its not the same as it once was. CFP would be awesome but that's pretty hard to fathom, would likely have to go undefeated (beating Iowa and Wisco in the same season.)
