All Things 2024-25 College Basketball Other Games Thread

I fully understand why people dislike him, but Pitino's elevation of St. John's in the biggest market is great for the current state of college hoops.
He's literally amazing. Cemented his rep as one of the greats of all time.

Illinois has talent but they sure are a soft underachieving team.
Underwood stated after the Wisconsin game something to the effect that he's never seen an illness go through a team like they were experiencing. Didn't have his team shake hands after game in an effort not to spread it (weird, I know). But I'm assuming some of that is lingering. They sure looked slow and weak.

Nothing against Duke, but this has to be part of it. The stuff that's been going around is bad.

48-21 in the second half for Indiana, who hands Purdue its 4th straight loss.

73-58 final

One of their bigs broke his wrist on top of all the illnesses. They just can’t put the same lineups together.

Watching a lot of blowouts late in the season.

St Thomas lost to the worst team in the Summit last night. Now in a 2nd place tie with SDSU.

St Johns and UConn playing a good one. Great to watch coaches who can coach rebounding, play an exciting brand of basketball, sub properly, have a coehisve game plan, and adjust on the fly. The same could be said watching the St Mary's and Zags game last night.
Why would anyone pay attention to anything like that?

AZ got massively screwed with 3 seconds left. Absolutely terrible call. However, to that point unbelievable game to watch!!!
It was awful. Lloyd was more gracious than he needed to be in the postgame.

It was a horrible way to end a classic game. Hate to see the stripes decide it with a phantom call.

Williams for Nebraska with 22 of Nebraska’s first 29 points.

Was at the game, both teams were fantastic. AZ did get robbed on the foul at the end, but still so fun to watch

Watching Missouri vs. South Carolina. What a crazy turnaround year for Dennis Gates. 9-24 and 0-18 in the SEC last year. Look at them now.

Great atmosphere for Maryland-Mich State finish. This is what Williams Arena should be like…..

Another one for you. Vanderbilt - A&M last night. First time I've watched much of Vandy this year, and man Byington can coach, and they play at a high level. Road win for Vandy and it's not like A&M played poorly. . .

I'm impressed with what Byington has done there, their ball movement on offense was excellent.
