Gophers among favorites to land 4-star 2023 center Dennis Evans

Yeah I'm pretty sure On3 predictions aren't humans with inside knowledge, it's a computer algorithm thing. I don't think there's a way to check history on it, but I thought I remembered it having Kansas at like 70% before Kansas was more officially eliminated recently. I don't know why some people are assuming we're already down and out on this one. He literally just took an official visit here.

Land of Ten Thousand Flakes Syndrome?

Anyone will compromise their ideals for millions-of-dollars per year.

Over the years, I get the sense that winning in FB & BB isn't the most important thing at Minnesota. And that's an understatement. A coach or AD isn't going to go out on a limb and rock-the-boat too much on that. (Fleck happens to be a boat-rower...but not even he will advocate for anything that goes against the administration.)
LOL. You're not capable of being consistent with your own horrible take. They are literally being offered tons of money TO RECRUIT and you are saying they won't care about recruiting because they have tons of money.

In your stupid scenario, the money would make them lazy not compromise their ideals.

If you wanted an example of money compromising ideals, it would be like recruiting violations (being doing ANYTHING to win). Your scenario is the exact OPPOSITE - - people refusing to do anything to win.

This is starting to feel very MNPLS Gophery and the timing of your account checks out.

I agree that Dennis is truly 50/50 on his decision. I read that he really didn't know when he would sign (early or later signing period.) Let's say it takes awhile... do the coaching staffs both just keep being active through phone, text, and personal visits?
I get the feeling that this length of time for his announcement has to do with this being a difficult decision for him. It's a huge decision, and he's deliberating.

MNPLS (or whatever his stupid screen name was) is Gophers_4life. Not to say that he couldn't also be running the MNJay user name (the terribleness of the posts certainly merit the suggestion), but it doesn't seem likely.

Why is he gone? I supposed Henley would have a pretty good feel and that'd be decent insight if that's what we're getting at with the player chatter.

Until those crystal balls start poppin' up I'm staying hopeful here.

Anyone have any good dirt on Jamie Dixon?

Interestingly enough, the overall optimism and outlook on the other board regarding Evans appears to be vastly different than this thread.
