2022 NFL Draft

Talking head this morning that he’s hearing Det and another team will be interested in trading up for Tampa ir Vikes pick at the top of the second FWIW
I heard something interesting this morning. Allegedly the Vikes received a fairly decent offer for #32 when their pick was due, clearly from someone targeting a QB you would think? Hard to imagine they would pass it up since they had a pick 2 picks later? WTF?

The biggest hole on the roster currently is a 3-4 DE. Taking Logan Hall next would make a ton of sense.

The lions won the first round. I can’t believe we helped them get a playmaking receiver (yes, I know he’s recovering from acl). Also Hutchinson will e making life miserable for Kirk, Erin and fields

I'll take the Jets draft as the best - all three of their picks are projected as impact starters for them

I saw comments based on at least 3 different systems that claim to assess the value for draft picks.

the consensus was that the Vikings came out of the deal with some net value - but depending on the system, the net value was equivalent to a 3rd-round or early 4th-round draft pick. that was the net gain for what they gave up and what they got in return.

that is peanuts for moving down 20 picks in the 1st round.

in other years, (yeah, I know) that type of a move might have brought you a future #1 in return.

So, not a great start for the new brain trust.

PS. Packers go defense - defense with their two 1st round picks. No WR for A-Rog. Enjoy that contract, baby.
