This Draft is allegedly strong in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Even without getting full value in return (depending on your point rating system), if they didn't have anyone there that they felt was worth #12, why not move down? I heard some people say there were as few as 18-20 players graded with 1st round grades.

Long time left before the dust settles!

If the Vikings stay at 32 and 34, I'll bet one pick is Christian Watson if he's still available.

Even the biggest Viking homers at the official Vikings draft party at US Bank booed this deal rather loudly.

Each spot in the draft has a value represented by points.
According to whom? What metric?

The first pick is 1,000 points and pick 3 is 513?

WTF does that mean.

Not bugging on you, it just seems monumentally stupid.

It’s just like recruiting rankings or anything else like that. It’s mainly for the fans.

How much do you want to bet Jefferson gets traded instead of paid after watching what's occurred with receivers today and this offseason?

Just like all the mock drafts that have gotten it 100% right.

I’m just glad I have it on mute and have the volume up on the Wild game.

It usually seems like a smart move when you see it happen in the NFL. Get a haul of picks for a guy can’t afford. Total bummer when your team has to do it though.

Shit trade. We traded down 20 spots in the first to trade up 12 spots in the second. Gave up the ability to draft the best player at a few positions that the Vikings need. Forget the third rounder that we got in the trade. What a joke.

With the Vikings pick.....Dogdoo Thompson out of Nastybutt University.
