***PREDICT THE SCORE VS. OHIO ST.***

Lol...I suppose I deserve that. Trust me when I say I'll be thrilled to be wrong. So thrilled that it's likely I wouldn't make it to work Friday :)

Don't know about the score, but betting consenus in Las Vegas has tOSU favored by 13.5 with an o/u of 65.5.
Gophers, under

look to how northwestern played them. Slooooooooow it down.

Ohio state 28, Minnesota 24

if it is a shootout, Minnesota has almost no chance.

Ohio St - 34
Gophers - 21

Just think OH will make Tanner throw the ball and we'll look clunky out of the gates, in the pass game. Hoping for some nice timely turnovers that swing it the other direction.

Gophers control the line of scrimmage and OSU's QB doesn't have the calmness to complete passes.

Gophers win 42-9. (three FG's).

OR

Buckeyes win 35-17.

Gophers 2
tOSU 0

Forfeit.
Great Call. I wonder how the over/under will work if the game is a covid forfeit. I'm thinking the under might be an attractive option this season. Chance that it actually goes under, plus you capture the possibility of covid cancels? Probably nullifies the bet, however.

OSU 31
MN 23

OSU's QB's legs and our inability to contain them is the difference.

I fear that as well. Fleck's teams seem to start slow. Even in 2019, with that impressive of a team, we were lucky to beat SDSU and GA Southern. OSU is no SDSU/GA Southern.

Gophers 24
Ohio State 21

39-14 Ohio State; I hope that I am wrong. But because since 1969, we are 2-39 (4.9%) vs. them, I just don't see a victory.

If I'm betting my own money - OSU 31, Gophers 24.

OSU is OSU for a reason. the reason is they have really good players. and I just think they have more really good players than the Gophers do. That doesn't mean the Gophers are bad - it just means that OSU is a little bit better.

OSU scores at the end of the first half to make it even or take a small lead, but also taking momentum into the half.

Mo has a nice run in the second but there is a holding call out of nowhere. We go three and out. Shanked punt. OSU scores on ensuing drive and never looks back.

Hope I’m wrong.
