I didn’t see a thread, so I’ll get one started.

31-27 Gophers
 

In another thread I predicted it, but here it is officially.

63-11 Gophs. Take it to the bank.
 

38-35 Gophers.

Lot of offense, Gophers possess the ball for 37 minutes and win the turnover battle. Gophers string together some long marches but the big plays...wham, 3 plays, 80 yards, TD Ohio State.

Gophers win on a FG as time expires from our new kicker, Matthew Trickett, who becomes the hero of GH. We enjoy a lovely romp on the field while ESPN spends the ensuing week debating if the Big Ten needs to acquire more juggernaut teams because Ohio State is 0-1.

Hate to be the first to rain on the parade, but...

OSU 37 Minnesota 24
 

I tOSU. 49. Our Gophers 21. Secondary problems become very evident.
 





This game is a heart attack waiting to happen. So, I won't make any predictions.

As I have said, this team looks good on paper. The keys are the practices and gelling together as a team. If they maintain discipline and play a well-oiled team game, do what they do well, they have as good a chance for an upset as anyone. A team united is a dangerous one.

We will know who the team leaders and stars are.

You can bet Coach Ryan Day is not going to take the Gophers for granted. The Gophers have earned this respect.
 


Osu 43 - our lads 17. 7-7 thru the first q. 17-7 at half allowing us some hope. Then the osu push begins grinding out tds via short fields from punts and turnovers. Tanner runs in a TD in the games final minute.
 

I'm not going to get into this one. My heart was broken against TCU when we had that first game hype a few years ago. I do believe the Gophers can win though. Just so many tangibles in this first game for both teams.
 




Don't know about the score, but betting consenus in Las Vegas has tOSU favored by 13.5 with an o/u of 65.5.

Mo goes for 3 TDs and 180 and enters the Heisman race with authority.
Mafe has 2 sacks and several more pressures and looks like the second coming of Karon Riley.

The realist in me says 31-24 tOSU

My prediction however 28-24 gophers
 

28-17 Buckeyes

Gophers cover the spread.

It is possible for the Gophers to win this game. We just need alot of things to go our way.
 

35 University of Minnesota
32 Some Ohio State University
 


28-27 Gophers. We go up big in the first half and grind out a win in the 2nd with Mo carrying the ball basically every play to control the clock. We win by a point but dominate in time of possession.
