I had never heard of him before and just watched his highlight tape. He doesn't look particularly big or fast. Looks like a good FCS player.

If we offer him, I assume we have as good of a shot as anyone.

Wonder what the actual factors were in the decision. Playing time sooner than later? Or maybe more the culture of the areas around the campuses? You'd think it'd be hard to turn down a Stanford education for ..... K-State farm school ...

He also could be someone who is comfortable in a smaller-town setting. If you're from Bismarck, the transition to Manhattan, KS probably seems a lot less imposing than Palo Alto, Minneapolis or Tempe.

This is what makes more sense to me than any of the other factors. He grew up in relative small, conservative Bismarck, ND. Going out to Mpls, let alone the Bay Area, might be been viewed as Gomorrah compared to Kansas.

Yeah I've never been to either Manhattan or Bismarck, but I assume they look and smell the same

Holy offers! Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, USC and Penn State. (Looks like PSU is only one in the Top 5, but impressive to have had offers at some point from that group)

Hopefully the Desert Pines pipeline grows!
 

Manhattan is a great town. I’m obligated to say that because Mrs. Paulser21 was a football/basketball cheerleader there
 




You never know how a QB turns out. If he lights up the Pioneer League, maybe he can transfer to a P5 school down the road. The kid's got drive.

Good for him, hope it works out well. If he is truly as good as certain posters on here want us to believe he is he will go light it up for St. Thomas and the big boys will come calling in a few years.

K State is more rural suited to his liking being from ND. He must have long established connections with Klieman.
