Offers from Florida State, Georgia, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Syracuse and us. Good list so far for someone graduating in 3 years.
 





I should probably put this in the 2027 recruiting thread. Looks like a good dual-threat prospect.

"Minnesota was super cool," 2021 Lakeville (Minn.) South offensive tackle / tight end Riley Mahlman said to GopherIllustrated. "The new facilities are top notch. We got to try on all the Gopher equipment which included the new uniforms and helmets. We got to see how a Minnesota football player actually lives by going to the practice and game fields. We checked out their weight room and their lifting coach. The campus tour gave us a sense of where things are. I also got to meet many possible future coaches. We even got to see the room where the players hangout. Overall it was a cool experience."

The kid looks like he would be ready to play PF for Pitino next year.

Kid was a 6'8" 9th grader playing 6A football. Really good and three years before he even gets to college.

Obviously it's a long ways off and anything can happen .... but do we really have a chance at JCL and Damon Payne??? The latter with offers from literally everyone, including Alabama and Ohio St. JCL "only" has offers from Wisc and Michigan, as far as higher up programs go, but imagine he'll get everyone too.

Not at all knocking Fleck for going for it. You never know.
 

aannnddddd....Bucky does it again. Beats us to the punch and offers Lakeville South TE/OL Riley Mahlman (6-8 245). Beat us to Benhart too.
 

2021 Iowa defensive lineman TJ Bollers visits Minnesota

"We drove in Friday night to Minneapolis, and then Saturday morning, me, my mom and my brother were able to walk around the campus and around the city a little bit before the game," 2021 Iowa defensive lineman TJ Bollers said to GopherIllustrated. "Once we got to the stadium, we went into the recruiting room and hung out there with the other recruits. I talked to defensive line coach Marcus West and defensive coordinator Joe Rossi. Right before the game, we were out on the field watching warm-ups and Coach Fleck came up and talked with me a little bit and then me and Aaron Witt went over and watched the defensive line. When the game started we went up to the stands and it started snowing, so my little brother had a snowball fight with Goldy. After the game, we went into the locker room with the team and they were all going crazy over the huge win. It was a lot of fun! Later, we went back to the recruiting room again and I talked with Coach West and Coach Rossi about the game and then met Carter Coughlin. I talked with him for a bit then we left. It was a great visit!"



"When I talked with coach West and Rossi, we talked about my season, my family, the youngness of my high school team, stuff like that," Bollers explained to 247Sports. "Their main message to me was that once I get to college, the guys right now are going to be the leaders of the team as juniors and seniors, and the "rebuild" that Minnesota's going through right now would have passed. With Coughlin, it was awesome. He was a cool guy to meet and talk to. Now that I know who he is, I can't wait to watch him. I'd say my favorite part of the visit was talking with the Gopher coaches. The Minnesota game was amazing also, and my favorite part of that was the Cashman scoop and score."


More Big Ten visits are on the docket for Bollers.

"I like the Minnesota program and their coaches a lot. They're a program on the way up and the coaches know what they want to accomplish. I'll be visiting Nebraska this weekend, Michigan State on the 24th and then there's no date set yet for Stanford, but I'm hoping to get out there."
