There is no good answer to Zebrowskis questions. He wants an OC/QB coach and Z was not that guy. Claeys has a limited window to produce, he's a first time HC. He has to do everything he thinks is best right away. He won't have a second chance. Zs answers would be understandable 5 months ago. He should understand and be over it by now.
Also funny that he's playing the loyalty card while he blames Kill for the offense.

I thought the same thing. Coach Z was a big part of that offense and by playing the blame game while referencing loyalty doesn't sit well with me. I am pleased Claeys went a different path. Coach Z and Limey clearly weren't preforming up to his standards. It's his program, his decision. Be good at your job, don't get fired. It's really that simple people.

i don't think that there has been a more poorly managed position on this football team than the quarterback. i'm sure it is not all coach z's fault, sometimes things just happen. but after the consistent yearly transfer of quarterbacks and the seeming inability to find division i talent (not a knock on mitch, i am becoming bullish on mitch ).

no one knows what is really going on behind the scenes, but if there is one place in which this team needed an injection of fresh blood it is at the quarterback position. again, i am not laying the blame at anyone's feet, i am just very pleased that claeys did decide to go in another direction. it seems as an outsider that it was the best option.
