Wow! ESPN...I mean ABC taking every opportunity to tell us the B1G is over-rated.

I think we would have matched up better. Our defense was certainly better.
Indiana straight up didn’t play very many real physical teams this year.
And when the played Ohio State, blowout
They play mediocre Michigan team and it’s a toss up game
They play Notre dame, blowout

I think if they played a different schedule they’re in the pack more than in the top 4. They’re a really good team and deserved to be in the playoff, but the 10th best team this year is maybe closer to the 40th best team than the 1st

I predict notre dame to the national title game and they lost to northern Illinois !

Next time someone tells you PJ is the worst game manager remind them that Dabo just called timeout on 3rd and goal down 14 with 8 minutes left

The B1G beat a higher ACC team by more than the SEC beat a lower ranked ACC team by

I'm not saying any of THIS year's 3 loss teams should have been in the Playoffs, but it also shouldn't be an automatic disqualifier either.

A 3L team could very reasonably be more deserving than a 2L squad if any/some/all of these are factored:

- 1 of Ls was in the Conf Championship
- Ls were against quality opponents (T25 or better)
- We're competitive close defeats
- Also have quality Ws (vs T10)
- Beat other team being considered head to head
- Star player/QB was out for a game
- Top Tier SOS overall including a NonConf game/win

None of these applied to 2024 Alabama.
I’m someone who dislikes the playoff though. I don’t think any two or three loss teams deserve a chance to be named champion. What was unique about college football was the best team during the entire year was crowned champion, not the team that strung a few wins together at the end of the year like in most sports.

I’m just going to carry on the spirit of the Internet these past 24 hours and say Tennessee has no business in this tournament. Clearly Alabama should have been in to take their place.

Alabama Alabama Alabama South Carolina Alabama Alabama Ole Miss Alabama Alabama Alabama Ole Miss Alabama South Carolina Alabama Alabama Alabama Alabama Alabama Ole Miss

After reading your post, all I could think of was Bamm-Bamm.

Take away Indiana...The Big Ten is pretty impressive. Penn St dominated. Ohio St up 21 to 0.
And Oregon quietly waits.

So this is a sarcastic post. But Tennessee beat bama head to head.

The real team that should’ve been the third SEC team in was South Carolina. If head to head doesn’t matter, let’s be honest the third best SEC team is South Carolina.

You are a classy gent
I am quite capable of putting the ass in class when Im on one. As Paul Newman once said in one of his roles. The thing about ass, you either kick it or lick it. Pretty obvious which team is doing what. SEC SEC. At this point Indiana was closer to Ohio State then Tennessee

Sorry Chip Scoggins but Tennessee is 6-6 if they played in the Big Ten.

So, Ohio St. is 3-12-1 against the SEC all time. Good to know, so does that mean Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina all get to advance?

ABC trying to save SEC beat down with a reminder of OSU's overall losing record against the SEC. This in response to the crowd's SEc chants.
Losing to Bear Bryant has a lot of impact on today

At some point ESPN will go far enough back and learn that the reason the SEC can play for the national title is because they lost the war

Even if some team had 3 L’s which were all to top 5 teams, they shouldn’t get in. Why? They’ve already had 3 chances to beat playoff caliber teams and couldn’t do it so they’re unlikely to be able to in the playoff either.

What if they beat 2 of the other T5 teams and one of the Ls was in the Conference Championship?

Never been a three loss national champion. If they keep expanding the playoff there will be a day a three loss team makes a run and maybe wins it. Then the game will have a crappy crowned champion and not a season long excellence team. Won’t that be a proud moment for the game? The idea a playoff always crowns the ‘best’ team is false. NCAA basketball tournament regularly demonstrates the best team can falter.
