Wow! ESPN...I mean ABC taking every opportunity to tell us the B1G is over-rated.

I'm not sure the cold was even a marginal advantage. It's not like Knoxville, TN is tropical. Evening temps yesterday were mid 30s, only about 10 degrees warmer than Columbus. Didn't look windy last night, nothing really prohibitive.
So yes, Tennessee had a chance to practice in cold weather.

Nothing happened on Saturday that would change one"s opinion that Indiana got a Playoff bid by playing a pretty soft Big 10 schedule along with an even worse Non-conference slate.
That wasn’t what I was talking about. At all.

I was referring to his comments about how average the B1G conference is.

But now that you mention it, a one loss B1G team absolutely belongs in the playoff.

I don't recall McDonaugh saying anything disparaging about Penn St or tOSU. I took his comments to be completely pertaining to Indiana.

I think Indiana deserved to be in the CFP. Despite a furious comeback, a 2 score or more loss was also completely predictable.

The roadmap to CFP has been laid out for the not so football tradition rich Big 10 teams. Schedule 3 dregs in the Non-Conf, hope you only play 1 of the Top 5 in the Conference minimizing total Ls to 1, and beat the snot out of the bottom dozen.

Let's do it Gophers!!!

Then you didn’t listen to what he said. His comments literally went into detail about how he doesn’t understand how the B1G is any better than the ACC or XII. He more than hinted that the B1G isn’t very good so it shouldn’t be getting multiple playoff teams - spots that could/should go to guess who

You heard correctly.

All of that to me was directed at Indiana because:

- That's who was playing that evening.
- Indiana was clearly by seeding the last Big 10 Team to get a berth and have the weakest resume.

I don't think he was even remotely questioning whether or not Penn St or tOSU were worthy of getting CFP bids or even hosting.

He was definitely taking a shot at the Big Ten as a whole. Clear as day.

Well he was watching a Big 10 Team getting their butt whipped for the most part. Go figure.

Again, nothing I heard pertained to Penn St and tOSU, nor how any of them (including Oregon) would do going forward.

All nine conference champs SHOULD have an autobid. Which is why I would do a 16 team playoff. Nine champs, seven at-large. Yes, that means Jax State and Ohio U get in under this scenario.
No, I don't care if they get blown out in the first run. They did everything they needed to do - they deserve a shot. I will never not think this.
I’d be in but the money managers won’t

I think Notre dame will lose to the Ohio State vs Oregon winner in the national title game

The whole seeding format seems to have really hosed Oregon. However, it's resulted in a traditional PAC 10 / Big 10 Rose Bowl, so I'm all good with it. Happy Birthday to Me.

On the flip side, Penn St seems to be living a rather charmed life on their route to the Semis. Glad that swell Franklin fella finally caught a break.

At 7:00 yesterday it was 32 degrees in Knoxville and Columbus was 25.

Take it any way you’d like. He certainly was disparaging Indiana but he went way past that to thoroughly poke at the Big 10 as a whole.

Interpret this as you wish:

“I don't understand why there's this presumption that the Big Ten is so much better than the ACC or Big 12. I'm not sure what that's based on."

My interpretation is...not a anything to even get remotely offended by.

I'm not even sure a presumption exists that the Big 10 is "so much better than the ACC or Big 12". I don't even think the Big 10 "is much better" than the ACC or Big 12, whatever that means.

I would have presumed Penn St was better than SMU and tOSU was better than Tennessee. The were both more than 7+ favorites. They proved it.

Agreed pitiful announcing. Ohio State going to fuck Tennessee in the ass and then shove their poopy dick down their throat for good measure. And they can all gag SEC SEC SEC as Ohio State literally fucks the shit out of their throat
It was a blowout so you were watching porn and football at the same time? I guess well do what we have to do.
