Indiana straight up didn’t play very many real physical teams this year.
And when the played Ohio State, blowout
They play mediocre Michigan team and it’s a toss up game
They play Notre dame, blowout

I think if they played a different schedule they’re in the pack more than in the top 4. They’re a really good team and deserved to be in the playoff, but the 10th best team this year is maybe closer to the 40th best team than the 1st

I predict notre dame to the national title game and they lost to northern Illinois !

- Star player/QB was out for a game
- Top Tier SOS overall including a NonConf game/win

I’m someone who dislikes the playoff though. I don’t think any two or three loss teams deserve a chance to be named champion. What was unique about college football was the best team during the entire year was crowned champion, not the team that strung a few wins together at the end of the year like in most sports.
 


I’m just going to carry on the spirit of the Internet these past 24 hours and say Tennessee has no business in this tournament. Clearly Alabama should have been in to take their place.

So this is a sarcastic post. But Tennessee beat bama head to head.

The real team that should’ve been the third SEC team in was South Carolina. If head to head doesn’t matter, let’s be honest the third best SEC team is South Carolina.

Sorry Chip Scoggins but Tennessee is 6-6 if they played in the Big Ten.
 

So, Ohio St. is 3-12-1 against the SEC all time. Good to know, so does that mean Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina all get to advance?

Losing to Bear Bryant has a lot of impact on today

At some point ESPN will go far enough back and learn that the reason the SEC can play for the national title is because they lost the war

I always like Sean but that was pretty absurd. He used to the best, but he is clearly following Disney orders.

Watching the games today, other than the OSU Tenn game I'd rather watch FS1, BTN, CBS or NBC. ESPN/ ABC generally is awful other than the top team. (Fowler, Herbstreit)

I just watch the McAfee broadcast anytime it is on now and it is by far the best ESPN/ABC product around. There is lots of humor, emotion and rapid fire insights all around.

Even if some team had 3 L’s which were all to top 5 teams, they shouldn’t get in. Why? They’ve already had 3 chances to beat playoff caliber teams and couldn’t do it so they’re unlikely to be able to in the playoff either.

What if they beat 2 of the other T5 teams and one of the Ls was in the Conference Championship?
