Who should be in the 12 team playoffs?

- Notre Dame should have been in over Bama. ND is one of the best teams in the country right now and they were shafted.
- Bama getting in is entirely due to the incestuous ESPN-SEC relationship going back to late 2000's when they signed their TV deal.
- Auto qualifiers for JMU and Tulane is a waste of everyone's time. I'm happy for smaller programs to get the chance, but Tulane already lost to Ole Miss 45-10 this year.
- If conference championships still matter (they don't) then there needs to be a change in who qualifies to play in them. Miami didn't play in the ACC champ game and the two teams that did aren't in the CFBP.
- Kind of bummed that Indiana doesn't get to play a home game. Wish they gave the top 4 seeds home games as well, only seems fair.

It's not about entertainment, it's about getting the best teams in the playoffs. If you think James madison is a better team then notre dame, texas, etc your crazy. The playoffs arent a charity case. Now if we expand the playoffs sure I am in, but in a 12 team playoff there is no way 2 non p4 teams should be in
Agreed 100%. I said it above but the fact that we had an entire CFB season and one of the playoff games is a rematch of Ole Miss vs Tulane (was 45-10 before) at home, is absurd. Complete waste of everyone's time and we might as well just given Ole Miss a bye week.

And again, SEC gets three home games!!!
It will be very interesting if the two teams that play in the title game are two who've had first round home games (similar to OSU/ND last year, also Texas had a home game last year too) I know PJ hates momentum but there's a reason other coaches love it. It works.

Also, I think everything TAMU is annoying but how are you going to give them a 12pm Kyle Field kickoff time against Miami? and Give Ole Miss a home game? TAMU vs Miami is a far better game.

My argument:

They lost to 5-7 FSU and were destroyed yesterday.

Notre Dame lost two close games by a few points to two playoff teams in the first two weeks of the season.
This is it. Notre Dame lost a close game in August to a playoff team. They then looked like one of the best teams in the country the rest of the year. Bama lost to a terrible FSU team, and while they had a good run against good teams, they also had close games against bad teams and then got spanked in their last game.

It all comes back to the committee and ESPN smugly circlejerking about "SEC depth" so they can hype up SEC team's schedules at the end of the year.

Ridiculous. You can’t penalize them for playing in their title game. Look at Notre Dame’s schedule, they have 2 good wins, and only played 4 good teams.
How many FBS teams did each play? Given that, there should not be a non-counting game for Bama when they get whooped.
