Who are we supposed to fire or bench this week?

I think for the trolls they just pretend today didn't happen. They will reference the game but just recycle their complaints.

Let's face it: someone must be fired. Every single week.
If Sanford had been fired last winter he wouldn't need firing every week now. Yes, he was better than last week but how could he not be? He was still poor today. The offense shows little imagination.

It's good to balance out run/pass attack but he emphasized deep ball too much at expense of keeping drives going by mixing runs with more short routes.

We are still running play clock down for no good reason. Mix that up with quick snaps like all good offenses do.

A decent game for Sanford is C-. Fleck can do better.

I fully hopped on the Fire Sandford Express last week, but this part is 100% Fleck and will never change as long as he is the head coach.

Dan Barreiro has the Gophers winning their next five and challenging them that they need to beat Iowa.

He went from cold to hot.

Take what they give you. If you beat them when they do that, AND execute better than the defense on some of those plays and win the game, it is a sound offensive game plan. This is Big Ten football. In the end you have to take what they want you to do AND run the ball & STOP the run. Purdue didn’t run the ball and stop the run enough in the second half and Coach Fleck and his staff took advantage of that and won that BT game on the road, in the rain when trailing at half time. It was an excellent BT road win in the rain on that grass, drenched foreign territory football field. Well played by Gopher players and coaches!!!

People get a win and think OC is ok! Sanford never should have been hired and it is clear out offense has regressed the moment we hired him. The offense was dull against Purdue with little imagination. I can’t tell you how many times box was completely stacked and a little out run and pitch would have gone for many yards, but a run up middle went for a yard or two.

Looked like a nice DE rotation going on with Logan Redding and Joyner getting some run too. Is Anderson still banged up? Nice to see the depth considering the seniors at that position.

Purdue was favored. We won … on the road … in bad weather. Obviously, heads must roll!

Since MSM went down early with an injury.....(hope he is okay) no need to bench any players this week.

How about we take a serious look at our OL coach? Loads of talent, not much production.
