Week 8 Other Games Thread

NW QB with the unforgivable fumble on his own 1 with 43 seconds left I the first half.
I don’t know what NW was thinking there. 1st and 15 at like their own 7 yard line with under a minute left. Just take a knee and get into half down just 7.

the stats in CFB would say this is the right decision every single time. wonder if coaches will ever try push the envelope on the analytics on this one

Indiana and Nebraska both going for it on every opportunity in the red zone so far, I think.

A great story

Go Hoosiers!
Their offense is legit and they play a pillow soft schedule up till their back to back stretch against Michigan and Ohio State which will determine their season. But they look poised to win at least 10 games because they still have Washington, Michigan State and Purdue on their schedule after this one.

We absolutely should beat both Maryland and Rutgers as long as we play well.
Really like our chances in those games. Only way we lose I think is with some fluky turnovers.

this is why ill be curious to see what they do with them and the CFP if they lose to Mich and OSU (obviously they win either of those games in addition to above and it doesn't matter).

None of the above look like world beaters. Ohio Sate included. Hoping for chaos scenario for CFP committee.

Indiana is one of those teams that will be really tough to get a true read on. They just mentioned at halftime of the UCLA/Rutgers game that this is the first time Indiana has faced a team with a winning record this year.

There might be some Fleck to Oklahoma rumors coming....

I know Indiana hasn't played the greatest schedule but demolishing teams like they have is highly predictive. They may not win it all but this is not a fluke.

Ohio State - Indiana may be the game of the year in the conference. Surprisingly that's the second time in 4 years (also covid year) when that's been true.

I was wrong on Indiana, the offense appears legit. The transfer qb has been huge and will be interesting to see when he leaves after this year, but Cignetti seems to be a good offensive minded coach. Coached under Saban before JMU.

Oregon exposed the Ohio State defense a little bit.

I hope Indiana keeps pouring it on. I will never forget 84-13.

Go Gophers !!!!!!!!!

Oregon exposed the Ohio State defense a little bit. What happens to OSU offense output if officials start calling DPI and defensive holding in the playoff. I’d guess they won’t miss obvious interceptions that helped them keep it a one score game either.
It might be Oregon and Indiana in the B1G championship.

the dylan raiola hype wagon maybe was a bit early guys

Rutgers D is not good.....28 points already given up at home to a team that couldn't top 20 against any of their previous opponents.

Indiana is a tough team to fully trust but what they are doing to Nebraska today is impressive. Will be really interesting to see how they fare against Michigan and Ohio State in a few weeks. With their offense and schedule there is definitely a chance they are going to find themselves in the playoff.

And that is why I hate IU and Cignetti.

Up 35-7 and pulling out a halfback pass.

Classless
