Week 6 Other Games Thread

It feels weird, and quite frankly "dirty", wanting meatchicken u to beat Rutgers tonight. Of course only for the betterment of our Gophers statistics and ratings down the road. But still feels icky. ;) #shame

Pretty good trick play from TCU that would have worked if it weren't for a penalty. One of the kick off return guys laid down in the end zone and the got up to receive a across-the-field lateral pass from the other deep guy.

Nebraska frankly looks overmatched against MSU

Peaking at the radar looks like it is going to start raining a lot harder in East Lansing in the next 30 to 40 minutes. 40 with a 35 degree windchill. Can Nebraska hang in that weather? May become a ground game only if it rains hard. Huskers need to keep it close before halftime if they want to stay in this one, imo. Taking into account the potential weather on the way.

MSU now trying to get Nebraska back in it.

Lucky for MSU, Nebraska will not take the gift. Comedy of errors.

Wow! Great play by the MSU defense. Got to admit they are a really good group.

MSU giving Nebraska gifts in every such way yet they haven’t capitalized on any of it.

The MSU defense is giving a clinic on how to shut out Nebraska. Stop Abdulah, and make Armstrong try to beat you. If MSU goes up 21-0, Nebraska is done for.

Michigan sucks: confirmed. Rutgers takes a 26-17 lead.

In a little noted game today Darrell Hazell put another log on the fire under Tim Beckman seat at Illinois.

Beckman is gone. They should can him tomorrow and start searching for next season already. Hoke won't be far behind if they lose tonight.

Ahhh.....screw it. Go Rutgers! I love seeing Michigan have to really, truly suffer for once. Rutgers up 26-24 with 2 minutes to play. Rutgers just blocked what would have been the go ahead field goal for Michigan.

So if you catch the ball, get two feet in, lunge for a first down and then lose the ball it's incomplete? Mich got screwed a bit there.

How does Hoke keep his job at this point?

How can that NOT have been a catch? I'm confused. Two steps. Ball control. Dives out of bounds.
I don't get it.

They had to judge that he was stumbling and did not control any of his moves.

It was a catch.

Michigan got hosed.

I couldn't be more happy, f*** the Wolverines and their fat coach.

Its karma, they have gotten tons of calls over the past 50 years. And Rutgers did block the field goal attempt. Thank you Coach Flood. That makes it three in row for Michigan. Whose got next.

With Nebraska likely losing, who's the favorite in the West?

This is the first time I've really watched MSU this year; and my god Cook looks really, really good on some of his throws.
