They are definitely their own worst enemy but yeah, UCLA is better than their 4-5 record would indicate and our win against them is looking more and more solid as the year goes on. This game against Iowa would have been a route for them if they had done a better job taking care of the football, especially down by the goal line.That UCLA team was way better than people gave them credit for. They gained like ~8 yards per play against the Gophers. Only reason Minnesota walked away with the W was UCLA's absurd penalty yardage and three turnovers.
Crazy to think that 4 of their 5 loses came to teams currently ranked in the top 15 of the first CFP ranking (Oregon, Indiana, Penn State, LSU).
They finish iwith 3 very winnable games (Washington, USC, Fresno State). A bowl game certainly isn't out of the question for them.
